new penis size study

Not being offensive to anyone, but this is true- on average, the ‘average’ Indian penis is smaller. There was actually a study on this- about how a large majority of Indians have trouble with International condoms.

Yes. This study is misleading as hell. How could they have had the audacity to say that this study was representative of “Caucasians and Middle Easterns”, when the bulk of the erect data dealt with South Asians! It’s just beyond explanation. Pathetic. Particularly given, as you point out, that there has been much talk of South Asians being smaller on average (e.g. the condom issue and the claims of many Indian men themselves) — much the same as it’s frequently claimed, by East Asian women (who have had enough partners), that East Asian men are on average smaller than Caucasians.

I’m not claiming anything about race here, but the point that these things are widely believed means that at least some notice should be taken of them. Much in the same way as it would be silly to make half your subjects Africans, for trying to arrive at an average figure for Caucasians. It is very widely said that black men are, on average, bigger. True or false is irrelevant — one must take notice all the same.

STARTING STATS - 02/02/2015: BPEL 7.6 --- MEG 5.25 --- 5.25" with semi erection; but 5.16 MEG with 100% boner; BEG 5.47

CURRENT - 13/03/2015: I had to check a few times, but I'm pretty sure I got a genuine BPEL 7.8!! Will check girth again in a couple of weeks

GOAL: BPEL 8.50 --- MEG 5.5 --- BRING IT ON! (I've revised my goals for the time being; maybe I was being too ambitious too early on)

True or false is not irrilevant. Let’s point on facts and coherence instead than ranting because stereotypes are not confirmed by scientific studies, please.

There are obviously some flaws in the study based on how many participants and from where. The point to this was just to add another source for inquiring minds to gain information. We have guys from all over the world here so even if this study does not apply to you it may apply to others.

So are most guys here on thunders are above average?

We don’t know anyhing about most of guys on TP, we only know about those who enter theirs stats, which are only a fraction. And PE data are self reported.

I stupidly posted this in the wrong thread. I meant to say it here:

I just wanted to apologize to people if I appeared to be promoting the validity of claims about ethnicity and dick size. I didn’t mean that at all. I think my point was, if a study in erect size claims to be representative of (in this case) Caucasians and Middle Easterns, it seems a bit silly that half the data sample was South Asian. That’s all. In much the same way that it would be silly to claim that X study was representative of Africans, when half the participants were European.

Yes, I very much agree with you. It is wrong to say that “Asians are small” and “Blacks are big” but there most certainly are small differences in average amongst different races. If you look through a lot of East Asian penis studies (from China, Korea, etc.) you will see that their average is slightly less than the average in let’s say the USA, UK, or Europe. I’ve looked through numerous East Asian penis studies (China, Korea, etc.) and most of them put the average erect girth at 4.25-4.5 inches, and the average erect length at 5 inches NBPEL max (no more than 5 inches NBPEL)- and I’ve come to this conclusion after researching multiple East Asian penis studies. On the other hand, studies from the USA, UK, or Europe put the average slightly higher than this- they mostly put the average erect girth at 4.75-5 inches, and the average erect length at 5.5 inches NBPEL. So, from what I’ve studied (and I’ve studied a lot about this), on average, there’s a ~0.5 inch difference (in both erect girth and erect length) between East Asians (China, Korea, etc.) and non-Asians from places such as USA, UK, or Europe.

The same doesn’t exactly apply to India, eventhough their average is slightly less too (compared to USA, UK, Europe, etc.). I mean, the only proper Indian penis study I’ve ever come across put the average length at 5.1 inches NBPEL, and the average girth at 4.5 inches. Now that is, on average, slightly above the East Asian average, and slightly below the average from USA, UK, Europe, etc. So, I would say that Indians fall somewhere between East Asians and non-Asians from USA, UK, or Europe.

On the other hand, I am Pakistani, and we belong to the same ethnicity as Indian people (because Pakistan and India used to be one country up until 1947). And I am approximately 6 inches NBPEL, 6.5 inches BPEL, and 4.5 inches in girth. Now, I probably lean more towards the average from places such as the USA, UK, or Europe rather than East or South Asia.

Again, these are all my observations.

Probably because concerns about one’s penis size are generally considered a psychological issue, not a medical problem.

Isn’t a psychiatrist a physician around there?

Yes. The contrast a psychiatrist or psychologist might use is “psychological/psychiatric” vs. “somatic” (somatic = problem with parts of the body besides the mind/brain; sometimes the simple word “medical” is used instead).

I think that in the health care community, penis size issues are generally considered to be in the domain of psychiatrists and other mental health folks, not urologists. (Except for those urologists who make money by doing PE surgery :) )

Measuring penis size is field of urologists, not of psychiatrists or psychologists.

But they should be around after the men read the studies.

The authors didn’t measure anyone’s penis. The paper is an analysis of measurement studies that have been done.

It ain’t an analysis actually, they took all the measurements and calculated an average. That is not an analysis, it is always a matter of measuring penis size. Which has nothing to do with psychiatrists. So true that they did a mess, putting together measurements that should be kept apart. If you want to know the average size of something, you must know what issues there are measuring that something. Measurement error is a very important area of any serious science, and anything you want to measure will present some specific problems.
