Neoprene sleeves

So it’s time to make a thread on this. Coincidentally, today I got two separate messages with interest about my neoprene clamp wrap sleeves. And whether it’s possible to make an effective ADS out of neoprene. While chubypeckerwood and swaffel notably have made ADS systems out of neoprene, so far I have only ever made a clamp wrap from it.

I’ll post the messages and replies, and a photo of my most recent sleeve (which is now nearly a year old). You’ll see it doesn’t nearly approach the designs from other members - but it is effective as a clamp wrap.

Well, I got a roll of neoprene off ebay a couple years back, 2 mm thick. Learned to sew on youtube. I stuck to basic cylinder shapes as clamp wraps, added a slight taper to match my girth, and cut open an inch or two of the non-stitched side of the cylinder to allow me to slide it further down the base. I never got around to making an ADS or a wrap that maintained the clamp effect on its own - that can be tough, to get it tight enough - it would take some trial and error design work.

The simple cylinders made for good clamp wraps right away, they amplify the clamp effect and pressures possible. I made them about 1/8” less than my girth. The longer the sleeve is, the tougher it is to put on. So there’s this tradeoff between how long the sleeve is and how tight it is. I haven’t made enough of them to fully explore the effects of varying the design. If I were going to go after an ADS style, I’d be after a tighter fit. I’d start by making a short, tight sleeve to be worn at the base and try to get it tight enough to maintain some expansion on its own.

If you get the design right, neoprene’s great for wearing long periods of time. It’s tricky though, I think you’ll find you wish the fabric were slightly more elastic to be ideal for our purposes.

I’ve read that you are using a neoprene device inspired by Swaffel’s namba; I’m interested in building that too, in order to mantain the penis engorged; can you help me with the design?
If you can write me some instruction or send me some link to read I will greatly appreciated it :D

Ciao Antanior,

I did not succeed in my design to make a neoprene ADS that maintained constant engorgement. I did however, make several clamping wraps. I made cylinder shapes of neoprene, about 0.2 - 0.5 cm less than my girth, and tapered to match my girth along the shaft. I then cut the non-stitched side of the cylinder about 2-4 cm at the base, thus allowing me to slide the wrap farther down the ventral base. This makes an effective clamp wrap.

Neoprene is less elastic than ideal - so getting the correct tightness for an ADS is difficult. If I were to design an ADS like Swaffel’s namba system, I would start with a short cylinder, attempting to make it tight enough to maintain engorgement - a neoprene cock ring so to speak. Once having designed that, I would then try to make longer versions of it while still maintaining the engorgement.

I have been able to maintain post-workout engorgement using Xenolith’s cock coil device:
Cock Coil ADS

If the cock coil is set tight enough, it will maintain engorgement, and I have been content with this solution.

Good luck with neoprene. It is quick and easy to make an excellent clamp wrap. The ADS will require some fine tuning.

Pictures of my latest sleeve

Here are a few pics of my latest sleeve. Again, this was made by sewing up a slightly tapered cylinder, and then cutting a small slit onto the dorsal side - to allow me to slide the wrap further down my base. I still use it for multi-clamping when I want to clamp all the way up the shaft. I need to make a new one soon because the stitch is starting to come out.

I will be interested in any design discussion, as mine could clearly use some work.

Great thread! I am excited to experiment with the neoprene when it arrives.

I’m imagining that the correct balance would be a mix of something that can roll on like a condom, but has that slap bracelet shape holding effect ( like it prefers to be unrolled, but it can be rolled). Soft so that it flexes with clothing and high friction so that it doesn’t slip off. Tall order.

Would be cool to experiment with different materials.

Curr: Oct 2017 BPEL: 6.75" MEG: 5.625" (5' - 9" 245 lb)

Goal: 7.5" x 6" .......I want to win the dick swinging contest.

I made some neoprene clamp sleeves a while back, I found it useful to glue the edges together with a few drops of superglue first, made it much easier to sew.

This is a good thread Dragon Dude. You know how important I think this is, and you know why I think it’s important. I’d like to be helpful. I’ve made dozens and dozens of these, and it keeps getting a bit easier and a bit more customized. I’m about due for a new set, which for me at this point consists of seven separate sleeves of varying length, circumference, contour, and thickness. 6 of them are made of the thinnest most elastic neoprene I was able to find. One of them, which serves like a ring, is 2 inches long, made of thicker, stiffer neoprene, shaped like a simple wrist band. They all work together to make an elastic cast of as much of your tool as can be.

When I have some good light I’ll take some pics of mine as I rebuild my kit. This always involves cutting open the old ones to trace patterns for the new. This is a good way to proceed as it is easy to make slight modifications that you feel may improve the fit and comfort. Remember that your tool isn’t really tube shaped, especially at your base. I recommend you envision your fully erect base with a shape like the heel of your foot, with the back of the heel, of course, facing down. Where your organ enters your body is equivalent to your ankle. This is where you are headed. My namba builds have been getting more and more shoe like, once they’re all rolled on.

Remember also that none of this will work if you can’t support some amount of erection while rolling on your sleeves. You don’t need a raging bone by any means. Just a little. Each sleeve should add just a little bit more pressure and rigidity. The last ones you roll on should strive to capture more and more base, adding pressure there but not any on most the rest of your shaft. They will also help to provide a slightly more constrictive ring. Not too unlike a cock ring. but much wider. not so defined.

Anyway, I’ll follow this thread, see if I can offer any help. I think trial and error is a good teacher, so just keep it up. You will be glad you did.

You are definitely on to it Kavemonster. I’m looking forward to reading about your successes.

Multiple layers are likely a requirement to get any kind of clamp effect going. I’m going to try making a neoprene ring and sliding it over my current wrap.

My neoprene arrived today. It’s like almost mousepad thickness. I made a paper pattern by wrapping by dick and taping it.

I decided to make a tapered first model (expanding as it approached the base). It sewed up nicely. When I put it on it felt good. Tight but not too tight (DO wish the material was a bit more elastic. My problem is I still have quite a bit of fat pad that “pushes forward” when I bend over so my dick basically does that Slinky tube toy action and the sheath falls off. I can use it fine as long as I don’t bend over or sit down :/

This experimentation might need to wait until I am a bit leaner to make any serious daily use of it.

It feels like if I were lean and had nowhere for my dick to dissapeard to, it would definitely help hold the flaccid at a longer length. But alas … Chubs for now.

One more reason to get lean I guess

Cool! I notice some of the layers are very short in the middle ddle of the stack… Do these add a clamping effect?

Sounds like a good start. You may want to look for a bit thinner neoprene however. I Know exactly what you are going through, having a tendency to slip out. I almost never have this difficulty anymore as I seem to have worked out all the bugs.
The slight clamping effect I get near the base with the several layers definitely helps with this. It helps to maintain partial erection but not so tight to impede good circulation. Also a bit of a clamp(small opening) just under the glans helps too. One other little trick that could possibly help you would be to find yourself a nice, snug fitting pair of like thigh length tights. Maybe spandex or cotton, even made for a woman. Cut a hole out for your unit, put them on, and pull them up snug around your base area. the little pit of added pressure created there can be good. And somehow it seems that the pressure it creates on the lower torso is a little bit helpful. It also helps with comfort for a clamping session. as bare skin is now no longer exposed so that when I pre wrap with elastic, rubber strips I don’t get any bare skin caught up in it. Best would be a skin tight pair of elastic shorts with a hole just where your tool pokes through that attached, at the hole, to the last layer of your namba, like velcro, making it into basically one garment. A super hero suite for Pe ers. Yea, man! “My super power is Dick.” You could say.
