I just discovered I have been receiving private messages but the pop up box notification apparently is not working, even though I have this option set as “yes” in my profile options box.
Is anyone else experiencing this difficulty? Is there something else I should be doing? I’d appreciate the powers that be looking into this for me…
Do you have javascript turned on in your browser?
Occasionally the system misses a new PM. For me this seems to happen when the page fails to load fully or I hit the stop button. The popup only happens once per new message, so if you hit stop it won’t happen at all.
The unread messages on the home page is always correct and the next time a new PM is received a new alert happens.
