My Theory About Gains

Bib is technically correct. The only issue I take with it is the amount of time. Depending on how fast YOUR body heals will determine how often you need to apply something to sustain the gain from your last routine. In general I would say to apply stress within an 8 hour period. Now this will allow for sleep time but interruption of the healing process at those intervals disallows the establishment of new enzymes, proteins and collagen that is used to strengthen and rebuild trauma points.

This is the whole idea behind an ADS because it keeps just enough stress on those ligaments and corpus cavernosa structures to retain the physical structure we have created with heavy hanging or whatever means you use to create gains.

Statistically I can show how I could take 2 and 3 days off from my hanging routine and yet my gains on a per session basis was consistent week to week and month to month. The secret was utilization of an ADS daily for as many hours as I could. Usually I could get in well over 8 hours a day and in many cases I wore my ADS for upwards of 15 hours a day.

I obviously believe an ADS applied daily is the key to steady consistent gains over a long period. Months.

Ok, I see, thanks for a thorough answer monty! :) Guess I will need at least more wrapped time then, and maybe even add a few other tricks that I have up my sleeve.

As a fore-instance heat doesn’t effectively work for me but for someone else it’s the only way to get elasticity. Some even go so far to apply heat, get the elongation, then apply cold to lock the ligs and collagen. I wouldn’t think they can avoid the necessity of an ADS after room temperature is reached and use it between hanging sessions but temperature plays a big role with some genetics.

Heat does not seem like a necessity for me, haven’t gained more/ much from adding moist heat it in the past and these days I just place my PC on my lap for a little while and I’m good to go. Been doing that for 34 days straight now and no injuries (*knock on wood*) so far+ EQ is excellent.

Might try out something involving cooldown and ADS though. Time will tell.

Would adding heat throughout the day be beneficial to keep the tissue relaxed, and stretched out? I for one find whenever I add heat I have a much longer and thicker flaccid hang.

Naturally more blood will flow through the penis as temperature goes up. I bet you’ve noticed how on really hot days it hangs great and full, while in the winter it can look like some shriveled up shrimp.
I would suggest raising the body temperature, but not enough to make you sweat bullets of course! If you’ve got cold feet most of the day, wear two pairs of socks! To me, this never fails. Cold feet means a cold body, but warm feet means a warm body.

Do you think the gains from an ADS is more permanent than that from hanging, as its more focused on new growth, than stretching the ligaments, which by the looks of it loose gains after a long period of doing no P.E?

An ADS is the means that locks gains from hanging heavy. An ADS all by itself usually doesn’t create gains because it isn’t heavy or stressful enough. What an ADS does do is prevent the bodies healing from regressing the gains from heavy hanging back to what the body considers it’s norm. An ADS creates a NEW norm. This then becomes a permanent condition.

As an additional thought, when your contemplating a stop in your heavy hanging, your ADS should be worn for about two weeks to solidify the gains accomplished. This makes sure the body is done with it’s healing cycle.

Now another thought about ADS usage is to realize that when an ADS is utilized regularly, if you should miss any heavy hanging routines not only will the ADS prevent gain loses but will also guarantee that gains will continue from where you left off, even if several days are skipped.
