My penis is pissing me off

All last week, I had good girth gains from a routine consisting mostly of manual stretches and dry jelqs (I’d do about 50 dry jelqs per day, five days a week). Over the weekend, while getting it on with my fiance’, I’d do a few quick dry jelqs and would experience the same expansion I would get while dry jelqing. It was awesome. She even said that I felt thicker to her. Anyway, this week wasn’t nearly as good. Monday morning, while I was doing my PE routine, my unit didn’t expand like it had all last week. In the following days, my unit would expand nearly as much as it did during last week, but it’s just not doing as well as it did. During some PE sessions it doesn’t, at all, expand like it did during ‘glory week.’ I also don’t seem to have the flaccid hang I did during ‘glory week’, but that may just be my imagination. Anyway, as a result of all this, my penis is pissing me off. It’s discouraging to not make any progress, but it’s damn irritating to make decent progress and have it regress for no apparent reason. Any thoughts or advice regarding this rant?

Your program needs to change a bit do 200 dry jelqs, slow and consistent. Do this one day on and one day off.

Wow, that’s a lot of jelqs. I’ve got limited time in the morning, but I’ll do what I can. My biggest problem with jelqing is that my erection subsides before I’ve finished. I’ve got to stop jelqing, frequently, in the middle of the session to regain the erection. It’s very time consuming.

I definately agree with your ‘state of mind’ perspective. I’ll just have to keep a positive state of mind. With regard to testosterone taking a crash, my doctor has me on 200mg/wk of testosterone, so test crash is not a concern. Now, if you’re wondering how it is that I can be on testosterone and still not be able to maintain an erection while jelqing, I don’t know. It’s just the way I am. Don’t know what else to do about it.

I don’t see how 200 is a lot. I do 500 of them.

Hang in there andgrowing. I go through this shit with my dick all the time. It’s totally valid. There’s a definite boom/bust, glory week/hey, what happened? feedback loop to all of this. I think mastering this loop is a big part of releasing yourself to this PE process. I think that once that release is obtained and we just take a deep breath, listen to what our dick is telling us, take another deep breath, and then treat our dick like the monster dong health whang we know it can truly be, that we will start to have less and less of these disappointing weeks with our dicks.

It’s a lot like lifting weights. Some weeks you’re just jacked. You’d love to be that way all of the time, but you can’t. Instead, you set yourself this “gained” state as a new benchmark and you start to shoot for it- to make that the new “normal” state.

To put it another way, maybe we should really be *grateful* for these “glory weeks” because they are what take us from a state of hoping to a state of knowing. After holding your pole aloft and shwinging it through the air like the mighty swashbuckler you always hoped you could be, suddenly you know that indeed, you are the mighty Sinbad of Danger Dick. Maybe it’s just the big guy upstairs’ way of throwing you a bone, of telling you NOT to give up!

Anyway, I can definitely relate. Had a glory week two weeks ago. Measured 7” BPEL twice, but in trying to get the magical, signature changing third 7” measurement, have somehow stalled back at 6 and 7/8ths ever since.

Maybe your dick is fatigued?

Definitely fatigued, I’d say. One of the hardest things in PE is to come by the mindset that less-is-more. It’s definitely true that not all of us are hard banging, dick pounders like BigGirtha whose dicks respond well to the “no pain, no gain” heavy hitter strategem. Mine certainly doesn’t.

How long have you been on testosterone? And were you taking propecia?
It could be circulation.

With jelqing you don’t need a full blown erection between 50-80% is ideal.

With testosterone you still have to keep it from converting over to estrogen. Stop the beer.

Vitamin “C” and Zinc block the conversion of testosterone over to estrogen.

Ginkgo probably would not hurt, if it is a circulation issue.

Hows your blood pressure? High blood pressue makes it harder to get erect.

I’ve been on testosterone for six months. No propecia. Only other supplements are potassium. I’m also taking AIFM which is taken for the specific purpose of preventing testosterone from being converted to estrogen. Believe me, I’m well versed on this subject and I’ve got all my basis covered.

I almost never drink beer or any other alcoholic drinks, for that matter.

Blood Pressure? It’s been a couple of months since I last had it checked, but at the time it was 120/80. I’ve not changed my physical activity in that time, and the only change I’ve made to my nutrition is to clean it.

I do appreciate the help and trouple shooting.

I’ve got to say that just last night I was with my fiance’ and my unit was definately back to its ‘glory week’ self. I think the super erection I get from being with her aids in this. While we were in the middle of doing it, she commented that I felt longer. So, maybe the gains are on their way to being cemented.

So that’s weeded out. Antihistamines also make your erections wimpy,really wimpy.
Low thyroid will also wimp it out. Testosterone will not work unless thyroid function is normal.

Thyroid function? I can honestly say I don’t know. I haven’t had my thyroid function checked since I was about 18. Also, I don’t have medical insurance so it’d be a while before I’d be able to have it checked.

I’ve got to say, though, that I do believe the testosterone is working since it’s having it’s desired effect. Perhaps I should mention that I have a naturally low libido. That’s PART of the reason why I’m taking the testosterone. Think there might be anything there?

I only say 200 is a lot because I normally only do 50 of them. And the only reason I only do 50 is because it seems as though it’s all I have time for. But, like I said, “I’ll do what I can.”

I think that your glory week was also produced by how excited you were. Leading up to that first night you had been doing a routine, when you got with your SO you were probably horny and excited which pushed more blood into you unit making it a little bigger. When you were just doing your exercises and not being aroused by your partner your unit was not getting as big. If you noticed when you said you were with her the other night your unit was back to it’s big state. It will always be a little bigger the more aroused your are because of the blood being pushed into it. Just my opinion.
