My Elist Implant Experience

Hey txhog, really sorry to hear about your failed surgery. It was painful just looking at those pictures, nothing compared to what Dr. Elist promises and shows you on videos.

I almost made a deal with this doctor for the same surgery, but I don’t think I will ever visit this doctor now.

I have 2 questions.

1. Did he sew the implant onto your glans/penis head under the skin to attach it properly? I thought he only cut up before the penis and just slided the implant under the penis and stitched again the cut before the penis.

2. Your penis looked quite long flaccid with the implant inside, and it went down in size alot without the implant, is it possible that the implant was pressuring the penis to much that caused this infection? I for myself, don’t really want to have a longer penis because this is kinda impossible when your skin doesnt allow it, but widening is more possible because it don’t need many inches before your can see a big difference.

Is it to much to ask for how much you payed for the surgery? I talked with them, and they said around 12 500 dollars, that is alot for a surgery that yet doesn’t keep up with the predictions they make, and they even don’t have a refund guaranty if something goes wrong. Stuff like that scares me, totally not worth doing it.

I suggest you get a lawyer and try to get a full refund + extra refund for damage done to your penis. Even if the Dr has everything on his side with the paperwork already filled out from both of you (I don’t know about this, just guessing). You should at least try to give the Dr a bad rep, for making him stop doing this shit to patients in the near future.

Yes, the implant was sewn in place behind the glans. These are the stitches that supposedly popped allowing the implant to rupture through the skin.
With regards to length, I was already a “shower” instead of a “grower.” The size reduction is due to the trauma and scar formation from removal.
That price is in the ballpark of what I paid.
I am not out to give him a bad reputation, but to provide the honest information that he will not. I can pretty much guarantee that he would never show his prospective patients my pictures as a possibility of complications. Otherwise, nobody would sign up. It is best to brush that information aside and make promises that will not be fulfilled.

Hey, brother, do you happen to have any past pictures of your erect cock with the implant still inside? I’d like to see what a hard cock looks like because all I’ve seen is soft pictures with the implant.

Thanks.

I don’t know how you can’t believe that this ordeal shortened my penis. I have been told by others that this is a natural response from trauma, retraction and scar tissue formation.

Yep, after a penile fracture and healing I lost about an inch to scaring.

I am doing well and have moved on with my life. I sincerely hope that this has helped other men realize that things can go horribly wrong with enlargement surgery. Make sure you know what you are doing because once your money is in their pocket and you are off the table, some doctors don’t give a damn.

They forget their oath to do no harm.

Looks like he cuts an opening behind the glans to pull the implant down the shaft from the other incision..

I’m a lawyer in California and I would pass on this as well, unless you find a urologist who would say that he deviated from the standard of care in this field. Basically one to say he messed up stitching the tip behind the glans and it didn’t open up from your post operative care. Assuming you didn’t do everything he told you.

From what I can tell since he’s the only one doing this, there are very few surgeons who can give opinion testimony stitching behind the glans head and whether this doctor messed up.

I just came across this thread, I am so sorry. A member here by the name of 8-ball had a really bad experience with penis surgery as well.
Those pictures made me want to throw up. I hope you do find a good lawyer.

Take care,
Ron

Wow!! I read the article in GQ this past weekend and I was actually considering this surgery. I began doing research to see if I could find any reviews and this happened to pop-up in my inquiry. So glad I did. Thanks for sharing!!

Now I’m trying to figure out what other options I have. Looks like I’ve come to the right place for information.

Woah

I too was intrigued by the GQ article this week and did some research. I am so glad you took the time to document your experience here. I hope you save people a lot of money and (more importantly) their prized manhood. Thank you for sharing your story.

I did write to Amy Wallace and cc’d the other people listed above in regards to the article. In her response, she said that she was sorry I have had “such a terrible time.” She continued on saying that they “took pains” to list the potential dangers followed by a quote from the article consisting of four sentences. Several pages of how great the implant is and three or four negative sentences. Irresponsible. She sees nothing wrong with it and stands behind her article. Amy also said that she alerted Dr. Elist to this site and he told her he was already aware. So if there was ever any doubt, Dr. Elist has read this.

Thank you so much, I read the GQ article too and thought, oh my god I want this so bad. Until now.

I am so glad I found this. I read the GQ article also and even had e mail exchanges with his office. I thought it was the cure for me. No way am I going to go with this guy after reading this thread and seeing the pictures.

When a doctor, any doctor, does not want the work shown to another doctor what does that tell you?

Thank you for this post. I have been to Dr Elist’s website and was kinda impressed with his ‘before’ and ”after ’ photos. I contacted them for possible financing options as 13,000usd is a huge amount. They got back to me and I really felt the need to undergo the procedure. I am happy that I came across your personal experience on this matter.
