Multidirectional growth

Thanks groa, and I agree with you 100%. The fact that everyone in P.E. that has really been diligent and been in for awhile sees growth is proof, and that the growth is multidirectional is exactly what one would expect when you stretch a cell that is not confined by bone to grow in only one direction; they grow in width, multiply in length and width., i.e. the growth is in length AND girth. (Thank goodness)

Hey Boxcar,

I think that I read that you are an MD (medical doctor, hopefully). If so, I am delighted that you are a participant in PE as well as this forum. I feel that this forum is a great way of sharing information and maintaining motivation. In addition, there are a lot of members and moderators who stress sensibility as a key factors in PE. As an older member (I am 47), I have learned quite a bit from personal experience that the body can be made to change shape. Having been an athlete (I participated in the Olympic Trials), I have worked diligently to maintain my physical abilities. However, nature and age do take their tolls. It has been my experience that PE is not only improving my penis, but also improving my overall sexual experience. I started out with the program provided by an MD at PenisImprovement.com. His conservative approach made sense to me, and although I have broadened my routine, I still employ many of his recommendations. I use a lot of moist heat and listen to my body. I also use an herbal liquid vaso-dialator. It works very well for me and I have used it for special occasions with my wife when I wanted that extra edge. I hope that you will continue to contribute and wonder if it would be appropriate to ask your medical specialty?

Best of luck

Thank you for your post. I agree that many physicians are unaware that there really can be penile enlargement with exercises specifically aimed with that purpose in mind. In one of my earlier recent posts, I told of my visit to my urologist who has known me for years and also knew what my penis looked like before P.E. which I started last July. So before he examined me, I told him what I had been doing, and he sort of poo-pooed the whole idea until I took down my trousers. When he saw my formerly 3-4 inch flaccid penis was between 6-7 inches and much broader in girth, he said: “Wow! that really is a change!” Then to his credit, he immediately thought of how this might help his Peyronie patients. I contacted Big Al from Forsize.com and the two of them are in touch with each other and I think there may be a big new hope for this horrible disease to be brought under control, using P.E.!!Wonderful ! I pray it works.

As for me, I am just a general pediatrician , and enjoy taking care of kids of all ages. Every day is a joy to me.

do yall want the whole world to know of pe?

personally i dont because if a 8 in. dick is common i will have to have a 10 incher. because now people think of 8 as huge and its 2 inches bigger than 6 so if lots of men have 8 i will have to and i mean have to have a 10 in. ding aling

Boxcar23,

Glad to have you here. And the application for Peyronie’s is a nice one. I could only wish for the men’s sake that the medical community would investigate PE. But that is another case entirely.

Um.. I wanted to get your input on a link we use for the anatomy of the male penis. The link is:

http://www.bart … om/107/262.html

and you may have seen it. They are old diagrams, but I suspect still accurate.

Anyhow, I was reading in there and noticed this point:

"The corpora cavernosa penis are surrounded by a strong fibrous envelope consisting of superficial and deep fibers. "

Under the subsection "The Structure of the Penis", numerous references are made to muscular fibers in the penis.

Question: are we to conclude that the penis, while considered an organ and not a muscle, contains a significant amount of muscular fibers?

If this is so, then I wonder how much of our growth is attributed to the increase in muscular fibers? A curious thought because it would lend credence to a sound, standard muscle building diet being key to growth as well as explain the effectiveness of jelqing (pumping the fibers) as well as hanging (stretching/shearing the fibers).

Your thoughts?

Thanks Boxcar

for your reply. I think that it’s terrific that you have the balls (no pun intended) to state your profession and your involvement in PE. It appears that you have had some good gains. Do you hang? Do you jelq? or both? What do you think of the All Day Stretchers? I am thinking that ADS may be a good addition to my PE routine. Not with excessive all-day pull, but just enough to keep the tissue extended during the healing time after hanging. I’ll be interested to hear your thoughts.

Best of luck

muscle tissue in penis

The description in Gray’ Anatomy is correct. The muscle fiber that is present in the corpus spongiosum is probably of use in the kegel maneuver which acts to shut down blood flow (leaving the penis which is why when you kegel, the penis enlarges) as well as to help to stop voiding. It has nothing to do with P.E.

Increase in size is accomplished by stretching tissue to the point that the cells replicate. This is cone by jelquing (causing mostly increase in girth ) and pulling , or weights. As the cells increase in number due to stretching they expand in all directions , not just longitudinally, thus the penis enlarges in girth and length.

I agree. But not always proportionally as to shape. It would be great if we could isolate the specific reasons that some guys get the “baseball bat” or the “doughnut”, etc, effects. Seems to me that certain exercises tend to promote those anomallies whereas others do not. Or is there also some genetic predisposition in some to tissue growth in these directions?

Cell enlargement or cell replication

Could someone (luvdadus???) enlighten us regarding the increments and their origin. Are they related to the stretching of individual cells (thus not getting more cells) or are the related to the replication of the cells (or possibly a combination). Everyone on this board uses both explanations but nobody seems to actually know.

Obviously there has to be some replication of cells for there to be enlargement. probably in urethral lining, cavernosal cells, some skin cells, etc. But not all enlargement is dependant on this. A good deal of what is going on is related to repair of microtears on the molecular level of extracellular protiens like collagen and elastin. I think some cells stretch (axons of nerve cells for expample). So in sum I think that what we are seeing is due to a repetative repair of induced microtears in elastin and collagen and to degree cell replication.

Check it out guys, no need to have a big dick if you ain't gonna use it!!

Mechanism of growth

It is really the body responding to stress and mostly is replication of cells rather than enlarging existing ones. For instance in bone growth there is a law known as Wollff’s law: Where there is the greatest stress there will be the greatest growth. For example if a child is knock kneed the stress on the growth plate will be on the outer side of the leg so that the growth there will be more than on the inner side, thus correcting the knock knee,

Jelq4life and Guys

I still struggle why people don’t want others to experience PE simply because it may bump them out of the size-league. I’ve tried to understand that logic but i can’t so far.

It seems to me that no matter how many join the pe craze and who gains what that we are all in (and remain locked in) the same categories we are in and will be.
If i do pe and gain 2” and the next guy whether he starts out bigger or smaller than my starting size and he gains two inches (or whatever), we all remain in our given positions in the rank and file of endowment don’t we (for the most part)?

Is it possible that when PE’ers make that statement that says they want to keep pe a secrtet of sorts, that it is being said out of the male ego that is “competitive, controlling, dominating, jealous and etc” and fooling themselves into thinking they are more powerful and “unique” as a result of pe? Could the end result be rooted in fear and insecurity.
Just wondering is all.

life is short, enjoy it while you can at Thunders Place.

Boxcar23, thanks so much for the explanations. You are going to be an indispensible member of the community, I can see that now.

I was quite sure it was merely replication and not enlargement. Replication is a natural reaction, and enlargement not so, as I understand things.

At any rate, I will always be looking forward to your posts. Your insight and understanding of human physiology will further advance PE - it’s safe practice and effectiveness.

Yeah, I secretly want to have the biggest dick on the block. I guess this competitiveness trait of men in general had at one time survival applications. The one with the biggest dick got more mates and spread his genes further.

Check it out guys, no need to have a big dick if you ain't gonna use it!!

Mistered:

For me one of the main points of PE is to move up through the percentiles. I think most of us here want to go up the ladder not keep up with a whole world of PE’ers.

PE allows people who are below average (or think they are) to reach that ‘average’ and then once that’s accomplished, usually try to get a ‘big’ dick.

If everyone was growing those of us who started under average would never be able to catch up, let alone get ahead.
