Ah. The motivation again.

No gains in 9 months is taking its toll on me. Can someone give me some motivating words?

I am in the same situation as you brother, except for me I am on a long term break. So I can’t really offer any encouraging words other than to say things might look better in the morning, or after an even longer break from it :)

There could be a whole host of reasons as to why you are not gaining.
Apparently you are a hard gainer and although you don’t state what it is you have been doing that has resulted in no gains, I’m going to assume that you have exhausted all possible techniques, i.e., besides manual, did you try…

Pumping?
Hanging?
Ads?
Combo work using the techniques above in super sets.

I can honestly say that I haven’t been doing my PE the way I should. I haven’t tried any special new techinques, except for more squeezing. I don’t want to pump, hang, or use an all day stretcher though. I’m pretty happy with the length (8 bp would be nice though), and I have no problems gaining length if I really stretch consistently. However, what I want now is more girth. My goal is 8x6 BP, and even though I’m so damn close at about 7.75x5.5, it feels so far away, since I haven’t gained a single millimeter since december last year. Right now I mostly need the motivation to actually do full routines. I do the maintanance work nowadays, and maybe 1-2 proper routines per week, but those don’t produce gains. It’s just that it feels like the time I put into PE isn’t worth the effort when I don’t get any gains anyway. I’ve got so much else to do nowadays, so I can’t "throw away" time like that. I know one thing though; I really, really, REALLY want an 8x6 dick…

I’m not to your point yet, but I have been thinking about what I’ll do when my gains inevitably slow. My plan when the time comes is to take a couple of weeks completely off, then get back in with a different routine. If nothing else I’ll lose a little bit of non-cemented gains. (But if the gains have stopped I guess what has been gained would be cemeted, right?) Changing routine helped me a couple of times when I was running or biking and fell into a rut.

You guys are going to hate me for saying this. In my opinion, 7.5 x 5.5 qualifies as reasonably well hung. Maybe it’s time to focus on improving your life in other areas. Stay in touch, but take a break if you want to. There’s more to life than dick size!

Come back in a few months with renewed energy and enthusiasm, assuming you want to.

I used to lift weights a lot. I never wanted to take a break because I was afraid I’d lose everything. Circumstances forced me to stop for about 4 years. Now, I’m back, doing it at my own pace without feeling driven, and I think I look better than ever. I don’t regret my time off.

Plus, your gains will probably come faster after an extended break.

If you can find it in you, try taking 4 weeks off, then start again hard for another 4 weeks, then take another 4 off, then start again.
You could do 3 weeks, I think this would work just as well.
I think you should keep your goal of 8x6 as a medium-term goal.
For now, go for 7.90 as a short term-goal and later, later 8.25x 6.
Atleast you’re doing very good maintenance, don’t slow down or get lazy on that because you might lose some of what you’ve gained so far.
You are more than halfway to your goal from where you started, no?

Same for me no gains in the last 6 months therefore i decided to take a 6 weeks break.
I think deconditioning in this kind of situation is the way to go.
You are more pumped up when you get back.
That’s just my opinion.

Krowax…refuse to believe that you can’t accomplish your goals. Absolutely never give up and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise that your goals are too outrageous or maybe you need stop because you’re big enough as it is.

But once again it is entirely up to you, if you feel happy with what you have by all means stop. But if in the back of your mind you think you can do it….do it.

I don’t know who said it but the realization of a goal and not accomplishing it is something on the order of coming to greatness but never rising to it. Or climbling a mountain but never reaching its summit to see the view from the top, this is what drives me!

To be the guy who knows what it feels like, for good or worse, but I’m assuming the better.

At least you know the gains you’ve made so far should be well cemented after 9 months, maybe it’s time to take a break to decondition. This seems to work well for others.

Also if you find length comes easy, why not get to your 8” goal, and then just focus on girth, maybe a good clamping and girth wraping routine.

If I take a few weeks off weightlifting and in that time I eat well and get some rest, I’ll always post some quick strength gains where I had been faltering for a month. Seeing as how you’ve been at it a year, I would recommend 4 weeks off.
