Morning Wood

Morning Wood

I just want to know how long you guys think it should take before the morning wood are suppose to return after a PE injury? I know it has all to do with the injury you have incurred but when is the time to realise that the wood is not coming back? When I say “morning wood” I mean the erection you get when you wake up, not the erection you get in sleep.

Some people (nearly) never experience a morning wood. I have my doubts by relating morning wood with PE, erection hardness is a way better thing to use in place.

latency,
I have not had any significant PE injuries. I have overtrained 4 or 5 times from heavy handing. I experienced retraction and a little numbness. This caused loss of morning wood. In my case it took 3 or 4 days. Sorry to hear of your injury, I hope you recover soon. Get plenty of sleep and lower your overall stress.

oops, hanging not handing :)

Interesting bird. Didnt know that. It’s just that I had Morning wood every single day before my injury and now I only get night erections, NO M.W which I think is very strange cause my erections the last 3 months have gotten better. I think morning wood is a sign of a healty penis.

Tnx SheL.I.

Hi Alice,

Why is it when guys wake up they have an erection in the morning? Does this happen to ALL guys? Thanks.

Dear Reader,

Many men think their penises are erect upon waking because of urine buildup in the bladder, but this is false. Morning erections are technically nighttime erections which happen during Rapid Eye Movement (REM) sleep (when most dreaming occurs), although men older than sixty years may have them during even non-REM sleep. Generally, we experience four intervals of REM sleep per night. These spontaneous woodies in the wee hours are caused by specific neuroreflexes that are stimulated during REM sleep.

Most guys have nocturnal erections throughout their lifetime, and their frequency, along with one’s awareness of them, may vary. Nighttime/morning erections can be noticeably harder or stiffer than those had when awake. The penis can stay erect for up to two hours nightly, and not all men who have erections during the night wake up with one in the morning.
