More thoughts on how growth occurs.

I had shoulder surgery where they reattached my bicep and repaired part of my shoulder. They went in 5 places with a scope. I wore a sling for a week and I went to rehab the next day and could bench in the 300’s within about 3 months. I am over 40 years old.

When I tore my bicep completely they went in and reattached it to the humorous instead of the shoulder. Rehab was limited to; do not do anything too strenuous so you do not pull out the screw before it heals.

I am inquiring because stretching the ligaments seem to be a big factor in both growth and hindering grow. It also seems like most guys with really large penis’ have a very low erection angle (if any). It also seems where these doctors get into trouble is when they try to add girth.

I wish to restart this subject again with a reflection of my own experiences on how my girth gains occurred during the 6 months I have been clamping (and doing nothing but clamp). I have gained 0.3” and while it is not a lot, it is decent comparing to other people’s results.

So why do these girth gains occur at all? I see only one reason and after looking around using the search function on this forum, I see few people touching this area of the subject. Maybe I am just a lousy searcher or it is too obvious, but anyway…

…while you clamp your unit, you trap blood inside your penis. The blood cannot escape while new blood can be jelqed or kegeled in. Now when your unit is clamped, it will expand to a circumference larger than your maximum erect size. In my case, about 5-10 mm (0.2”-0.4”).

The penis will slowly adapt due to this high pressure and increase the ability to trap a larger amount of blood in normal erection mode. In flaccid state, no gain is noted. So my theory is that clamping slowly teaches the penis to expand to a larger size during erections due to a long period of exercises with internal heavy pressure. Simple as that and this is why it is important to measure your unit while you are clamped to make sure you get a way larger girth than during a normal erection (MSEG). Without this over expansion, I believe that girth gains will never come. Also, If you are overdoing it (too many times a day, not taking days off etc.), your over expansion will not be as big as needed and girth gains will be very slow or non. My few cents!

.3” in 6 months is great gains. I would like to go from 4.8ish to over 5 too. What is your clamping routine, and are your gains consistently noticeable?

My clamping routine has usually been 3x10 minutes, 2 days on and 1 off. But I have tried 5x15 minutes, used double clamps but I always came back to 3x10.

There is one thing I do different and that is how I apply the clamp. Actually, I kind of misunderstood how to place it. I apply it so that it fits the shape of the penis, not with the screw down but rather to the side. For me, it gives a more intense feeling and my unit is better engorged. Last month, I tried with the screw down but I actually moved backwards in my progress but before that, my gains were steady. But I also grew in girth before that when doing jelqing combined with jelqing. My progress graph below:

Hey firegoat

This is a very interesting thread and I believe what you say is true. My starting girth was 5”! After months of research on this site I made my own routine which has been working extremely well. I have gained 0.25” girth in one month and am going to take a full week off PE as a deconditioning break.. Then I will start my month routine again exactly the same.

Do you think seven days is a sufficient deconditioning break?

I think seven days is a useful ‘cushion’ between routine changes, as it gives full recovery time - any new routine is going to create different stresses to those your penis is used to, so it’s safer to impose those stresses on a penis which is ready for them.

If, however, you have reached a point where you are struggling to gain on any ‘normal’ routine, a deconditioning break really needs to be 5 - 6 weeks minimum, preferably longer, in my opinion. Connective tissue is slow changing, and for it to reduce in it’s tensile strength will require a great deal longer than a week.

All injuries happen from "too much", or "too much, too soon" or "doing the exercise incorrectly".

Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. The ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth. Basics.... firegoat roll How to use the Search button for best results

Thoroughly enjoying the variety of viewpoints, theories and scientific information. My own views are a sort of mutation of most stated above.. Minus the scar tissue contributing to gains. The reason is all in the very nature and function of scar tissue and that to gain scar tissue in the penis would require a drastic injury of the penis (like a ruptured cavernous channel or laceration of the cavernosum.

I personally do not think it develops from standard PE as the penis would end up shrinking rather than increasing in size.

Your thoughts on this.
