More thoughts on how growth occurs.

Nobody knows for sure how growth occurs. What we do know are the exercises to make the growth happen.

Growth is still in the theory phase.

I'm a big fan of 50 Cent, or as we call him in Zimbabwe, four hundred million dollars.

There is definitely stretching of fibrous tunica tissues involved in permanent growth; it’s certainly not simply due to an increase in internal “bloodflow capacity”.

This is an awesome thread. I love when there is scientific thought and evidence applied to things.

I also feel that this sort of “retraction” mentioned by overdoing it too soon and cold turkey stopping is likely what happened to me. About 8-9 years ago I skimmed through some PE sights about hanging, jelqing and stretching. So with little or no idea of what I should do I tugged on my penis as hard as I could at random times, hung lilltle league trophies off of it with a shoestring (so dumb) and even bought a cheap porn shop pump or two. Even as recently as the last couple of years I would do the slightest warming up before throwing on a clamp at it’s tightest setting until my dick turned blue. Absolutely foolish no doubt.

Thing is I could sware that I remember measuring my length at 7.5 NBPEL back before all if that. Where as now I am around 7-7.25. So it really sucks to think that my ignorance may have actually shrank my unit. Unfortunately I did not measure the girth then so can’t comment on what I may or may not have lost there. I do know that I feel much better about my “plan” and knowledge now. Though it is still hard to not get excited and jump the gun going straight to advanced stuff like clamping. I can live with current length, it’s girth and how it’s mad and kept that I want to learn more about now.

Thank you all for what you do.

Hanging and stretching “breakdown” or improve the elasticity of the penis. Now, your existing erectile pressure can produce a longer erection. It is similar to the balloon analogy; if you stretch the balloon vigorously thereby weakening the rubber, it takes in air easier and expands more due the weakened condition. Blood flow characteristics are important, as well, jelqing techniques will over time expand the blood carrying tissues which allows for a greater volume of blood to be taken in by the erection. As you expand your pipes you aid your erectile pressure pump and improve its ability to expand longer and larger. It is similar to the pumping system of a pool, if you want to filtrate more water faster you can either increase the hp of your pump or you can install larger pipes. The only option for the male anatomy is to increase the size of our pipes.

Expanding veins and arteries is a slow process, it requires discipline over a long length of time but you will grow incrementally along the way. You have that “hidden capacity” to grow larger right away (newbie gains), and that goes back to the new balloon analogy, your physiology is like a new balloon but if you work it you notice gains in the first few weeks, primarily due to improved blood volume. The suspensory ligaments take a little longer but they begin to weaken over months and months of work.

Some people just over think their penis.

Does anyone else here hold with that theory? I do not.

Nor do I but I’m no genius. Based on my experiences and especially by those that have been successful on here, that doesn’t seem to be the path taken.

It really is the only theory that seems logical from my perspective and experience. It is fairly obvious to me that the growth lengthwise is attributable to exposing more of the inner penis, for this reason, our growth stops or very nearly stops after a period of time. Other theories assume an elastic nature and if this were true you could grow your length for an infinite period. The continued development and gradual expansion of blood carrying tissue allows for minor improvements along the way (but you may go a couple years before it is noticeable). The majority of experiences with PE would fit this paradigm. It is self-evident if you examine the history and the facts. If it were any other theory we would be able to replicate the results in almost all cases and there would be no shroud of doubt about PE and its effects.

What fills the space where the ‘inner penis’ was? Of course the penis has an ‘elastic nature’; it has elastin in its collagenous matrix. It is able to go from flaccid to erect because of the elastin. Collagen is a highly adaptive tissue. If you lift very heavy weights, your tendons will thicken. Even bone will thicken and tendon insertions become larger. If you stretch every day, you may eventually be able to do the splits. Collagen does have physiological limitations - there is a limit to ultimate levels of adaptability to all healthy tissue. In the case of the penis, it may be higher than we think, but most of us, when we get to the size we want, just do maintenance or stop, and don’t keep putting in the considerable effort needed for successful PE.

A little girth may be gained by increases in number and diameter of blood vessels, but more will be gained by the CC’s and CS gaining internal volume from the growth of the tunica. That is the only thing that changes the blood volume of the penis. The ‘improvement of the blood flow characteristics’ may occur in older men whose EQ has reduced, giving them back some ‘lost size’, but certainly isn’t going to be a factor for a teen etc.

I don’t believe there is a ‘shroud of doubt’ about PE and its effects. The effects of PE are detailed here by huge numbers of members. :)

Don’t you just love that Thundersplace is a real-life “Fight Club”; a secret that we all a part of :) ?

There is no space to fill, the physiological process of the erection is the result, you have just improved your erectile circuitry to be more efficient and expose additional length. And this would explain in some part why there will be a variance in success with PE, everyones erectile pressure gradient will work with different degrees of success. It is analogous though not the same as a person that loses 20lbs and realizes increased length.

Yes, the penis has an elastic nature, in so far, as compressive forces result in a distensible tunica but the ability for us to manipulate this nature is extremely difficult and I have seen no evidence that there are effective ways to achieve success. The amount of tissue available for this adaptation is so small relatively speaking, that comparisons to other areas of the body and there functions (e.g. leg splits) are not practical.

I believe you are incorrect in saying, “growth in the tunica,” the tunica is distensible under compressive pressures and grows in girth as a result of blood flow dynamics and existing pressure dynamics, any incremental changes can have dramatic effects on erection factors. But our size increases are a result of improved fluid dynamics, it is a hydraulic system in design.

Also, I believe you are disingenuous when you suggest, “most of us stop when we get to the size we want or just do maintenance or stop,” I do not know anyone in this category and it presumes that we can go on growing indefinitely. I have not stopped in seven years and I am in no fear of joining a “freak show.”

The penis isn’t like a balloon, that can simply be “blown up” by improving “blood flow dynamics”. One has to increase internal blood pressure enough to an unatural level, to force a stretch in the tunica. Merely improving blood flood will do nothing for size once erection quality stops being the limiting factor.

Ah, that’s because of the “Shilow effect”.

Your wrong, the penis is similar to a balloon. The distensibility of the tunica and expandability of cavernosal tissue have direct correlations to the intercavernosal pressure and the volume of blood that can be held in the chambers. A little study in the fluid dynamics of the erection will show the efficiencies that can be gained through PE and the resultant increases in volume.

What has the “inner penis” and the suspensory ligament got to do with “erectile pressure gradient”?

How does the premise “the penis is enlarged by stretching the tunica” result in the conclusion that “we can go on growing indefinitely”?

I must say I don’t understand this “theory” at all.
