I’ve been back to doing PE for some time, dudes. I’ve noticed a little gains, and everything looks normal. Then bam; pushes the little fat pad back, and what do I see with my opticals? It looks like a friggin’ baseball bat. Skinny at the base behind the fat pad, and the it gets wider as you keep going up. Ain’t freaky, just wanting to know if this has happened to anyone else. Is there a way to correct it?

I used to be baseball bat and after clamping and pumping, I am bigger at my base than mid shaft. If I had to say it was either the clamping or the pumping that helped me, I would vote for the clamping. Lots of guys report better base growth from clamping (and from hanging). I have never used a hanger, but I really believe a clamping routine will help you—especially one with erect bends done carefully when clamped.

Thanks! I need to look into clamping. My PE routine is becoming rather narrow. HAHA! I mean stale. So some new tricks would benefit. :)

Its weird… maybe 1/3 of hangers don’t gain any base girth at all from hanging, while the rest gain base girth without much effort (it’s a nice side-effect). My base hit 6” pretty fast from hanging. My MSEG didn’t change at all (almost) it’s only about 5.125” (a 1/8” gain, probably from jelqs, not hanging).

I’ve heard people talk about the dreaded basebat bat effect a lot. Because of it, I’ve always tried to start my jelqs right at the bone/ fat-pad (as much as I can).

You could always try hanging; it might fix your baseball bat and give you some nice length gains in the process.

I actually like the bat shape. Works like a butt-plug, locks you with your mate like dogs in heat.

The bitch can’t get away.

The bib hanger gave me huge base girth, like a tree trunk. Clamping should help you NT just be really careful.

Clamping is awesome.I`m just not sure that it will allow length growth from other exercises while you are clamping.

Is he trying to grow length?

Are there manual clamping exercises?

I have always had a baseball bat probably due to improper jelqing in my early PE days, I notice when I get into clamping that the base is always the first part to grow, but I haven’t actually stuck with it long enough to completely even it out. Clamping has always been one of my favorite exercises because it’s fairly quick to set up with minimal equipment, and if you edge while clamping it feels pretty good.
