Hey guys I know most guys here know about micro tears but a lot may not I didn’t have much understanding so I had a look around and found this. Its very simple but explains it well and may motivate some guys to keep at.

I am new here but from my understanding , these microtears mostly take place in the ligs/tun and not in the penis itself. Am I right?

Well, the ligaments and tunica (with its contents of blood chambers) surrounding the corpora cavernosum and corpus spongiosum are just about the total contents of the penis leaving only the glans, skin and blood vessels. Depending on how it is manipulated (hanging, jelqing, manual stretching) the penis parts get worked on by different stresses. Even the skin will stretch with PE, so I’d say the whole thing experiences some form of micro tear and repair.

It’s infact saying that microtears are the trigger for hyperplasia. Interesting that the site is for vaginal dilation and they are describing hyperplasia!!!

It says that vaginal dilators keep the scar (injured) vaginal tissue under traction. This creates microtears. Microtears catalyse hyperplasia in vagaina! So it should work the same for the penis dude (as it does for other human tissue).

That brings me to think about “rest days”. According to the traction->hyperplasia theory you should keep the tissue under continued low stress during healing, after a fairly higher stress has produced microtear. Otherwise the micro torn tissue “might” contract. So during PE rest days there probably should be light hanging or stretching or jelqing. What yall think?

Yup. Maybe an ADS device strapped on during rest days is the answer.
Works complementary with Bib’s lig fatigue theory which has to be the ultimate in lengthening type microtearing.

The hyperplasia would tend to show the permanent gains the hanging and jelquing vets here see. While hypertrophy would allow shrinkage if PE were to stop ( as in pumping ), much like how a bodybuilder shrinks after no longer working out.

Very interesting thread. I agree with you RG that I never give my dick a chance to go back to “normal”so to say. I guess Im one of the morons here because I only take a day off when I think I need it. For example,Ive maybe took 3 days off in the last month,but if I am sore I turn down the intensity. I am more concerned with listening to my body than taking a day off just because it is day 5.

cj0057, that’s some phenomenal gains you got there! Congratulations. What all do you incorporate into your workout? How long do you do each session? My gut feeling (coupled wiht microtears/hyperplasia-hypertrophy theory) is that it might be better if you do 2 on and 1 off (ADS on the off day), instead of 5 or more on. The reason being, 2 on would produce microtears and 1 off with ADS will help healing in the stretched state, triggering hyperplasia. Ofcourse this depends on individual tunica composition. So 2 on or 3 on is upto you (listening to your body).

But you are aliving proof of your method (5+ days on). My guess is that the continued stress which keeps microtearing the penis everyday has tuned the rythm of healing so that hyperplasia “could” be taking place instead of the tissue at the open ends of the tear fusing together to close it (contraction). This is only a guess…

How long does your session last? Do you do with the same intensity everyday? Or do you do high intensity on day 1 and gradually reduce intensity on following days? The latter might work as you are not giving enough time for the dick to heal, so a smaller stress is required to tear the partially healed microtear. Again this is a guess. How do you do it?

This is exactly what I do. Based on everything I’ve learned here, coupled with past bodybuilding experience, it makes the most sense to.

Ive recently started hanging with light weights 3.5 lbs 3 sets of 15 min. Iusually do wet jelq (200),pump probably 20 min. I also have been doing erect bends ,ulis and wear a therap strap. When erect i do hard kegels while pulling down. Im not a big stickler on routine,I do less if my dick is sore. Red spots on head are frequent and dont go away. I am taking great interest in hanging and am going to focus on that to see what happens.

This thread gave me an idea. Has anyone ever tried a “1 on, 1 off” routine. Possibly with ADS on the off day or some other variation? I’m sure it has been tried. Has anybody reading this tried it? What was your routine and what were your gains?

Hmm, after a bit of searching I guess this topic isn’t as new as I thought it was.
