Meeting with other Thunder's Place members in Real Life

I voted for the “no I’m terrified etc.” because I think meeting up with someone that knows about PE would almost surely lead to a rapport based mostly on shared insecurities and talking about PE techniques. Of course there might be exceptions and I might change my mind if in the next few months I end up becoming friends with someone in here.

My sentiments exactly. Also, I’m paranoid as hell to begin with, so I could only imagine how awkward this would be.

What I’m saying is even though the Powers-That-Be do a fantastic job of keeping those out who are under 18, it wouldn’t surprise me if some low-key members are underage, or were when they joined. Just the numbers of the members is phenomenal and even though the checks-and-balances are in place, there are those that try to cheat the system.

And thus, they wouldn’t want to meet anyone because they would then be booted out of the club.

I can vouch for that I have done it and thoroughly enjoyed it and what makes it even better is he answers without even thinking about it.

I voted “yes, I would be willing to, but haven’t yet” since I’ve been posting on this site and PE forum since early 2003 involving topics that you would not normally talk about unless you’re comfertable with the person- but oddly enough, this site has skipped the small chat and has put everyone talking about deep issues. So in a sense many of us have bonded in a sense.

Yes, I have met 2 members from Thunders who live in my area (Maryland/DC) and became good friends with both of them despite the pact that they were both several decades my senior.

This is awesome, cracked me up. Anyway, I would if it was a group, doesn’t matter to me. I’ve gotten same good advice here from several posters, so why not? Even though I’m not the biggest poster, I would be more interested in meeting people who post alot.

I’m bad with names though, so I’d probably call people by there screen names at first. Which would be entertaining in itself.
