Measuring volume with plasticine

This is the method I came up with. It is only in theory, and I have yet to try it in practice, but I was eager to share it with the board.

Materials needed:
* Plasticine (http://en.wikip … wiki/Plasticine ) or a similar product (e.g. here in Eastern Europe it’s called "plastilina" - and also in Italy, I believe);
* Graduated cylinder (http://en.wikip edia.org/wiki/G … duated_cylinder ) of appropriate volume and precision.

Method:

1. Get yourself an erection.
2. Mold a plasticine form tightly around your penis. Make it sufficiently thick so it won’t be deformed in steps 4 and 5. Make sure to somehow mark or where the penis ends and the rest of your body begins (or remember where does this correspond to on the mold).
3. Wait for the erection to subside.
4. Carefully remove the plasticine mold and carefully fill it with water up to the above-mentioned mark.
5. Pour the water in the graduated cylinder and read the volume.

Ha! So, is this a good idea, or did I miss some small aspect that makes this totally impractical?

Why not go to http://www.thevisualiser.net/ and let their penis volume calculator do the work for you. Sure it is not 100% accurate, but do you really need it to be that accurate?

It sounds like a good idea, the only thing I’d be worried about is that horrible residue.

Lol, that’s not what I wanted (and if I wanted it, I wouldn’t go to that site, since we already learned the formula for the cylinder volume in the 6th grade - at least here in Romania, I guess in most other places too).

But that - truly simplistic - method is bound to lead to errors of at least +/- 10% (given the conformation of the penis), which is more than significant (as, for instance, it would be adding / subtracting 0.6 inches to / from a 6 in BPEL penis, don’t you agree?)

Perhaps, but why do you need such accuracy? Are you ordering a custom sex doll with specific vagina sizing?

(if so, sounds like a lot of fun!)

Aha!
That may be even more accurate, albeit more expensive.
Plasticine is however available almost anywhere (I believe).

Wikipedia says that plasticine is made “from calcium salts, petroleum jelly and aliphatic acids”. Nothing to worry about here.

Well, I was thinking that there are some exercises that may increase (or decrease, if you are unlucky) the penile volume without altering the EG and NBPEL.
For instance:
- exercises that modify girth nonuniformly (I had that experience with clamping);
- exercises that increase the head.

Tracking gains, assessing the efficiency (and/or the efficacy) of some (new / special) exercises (such as ones meant to increase head volume) and also quantifying how much of the growth was length vs. how much was girth.

(To get into more detail on the last one, one could measure the EL - which is less prone to error than EG - than measure the volume and than derive from these two the “true” “average” increase in EG).

How about this:

Volume = Base area * Length

Making one of those before PE and upon reaching ultimate goal would be full of win. :D

Volume calculators don’t cope with shape irregularities, so they just remotely evaluate the real volume. For someone who (for whatever reason) needs accuracy, this method could be something to try out.

I’ll propose two enhancements:
1. Do previously a wet jelq with some oil, to avoid the mold sticking to your dick, or:
2. It could be a problem to maintain erection during the application of plasticine, so why not avoid it at all? You may use the measuring cylinder alone without plasticine! Just fill it completely with water and immerse your erect shaft (bone pressed :) ) into it. The excess water (i.e. the volume of your unit) will pour out. Remove your shaft, letting the adherent water to pour back into the cylinder, then measure the difference! Of course, you have to have a horizontal position, like when doing push-ups…

Starting BPEL: 6.9" (Dec.1st, 2008)

Current BPEL: 8.11" NBPEL: 7.63" BPFSL: 9.09"

Current MEG : 5.6"

A good idea cervixhunter, but then you wouldn’t have the Plasticine mold of your dick, which you could use to make Christmas candles or interesting Jello molds.

After: I\'d like to show you something I\'m very proud of, but you guys in the front row will have to stand back.
