Manual Stretching and Gripping behind the head

When I do manual stretches and grip behind the head, I find that a week into the routine I lose some sensitivity behind the head. As we all know, for us circumcized guys, the back of the head has the most nerves that are sensitive to sex.

Is there any way to stretch effectively without gripping behind the head? I notice gripping lower on the shaft just stretches the skin. Help please!

You could wrap it tight just like for hanging and grasp it at mid-shaft.
