Magic Triangle

See the small triangle below?

You can also find this triangle in the top right hand corner of any post, except your own posts.

What’s it for you ask?

Well clicking on that triangle sends a bat signal/APB/wake up call to the moderators that someone is reporting a post. When you want to report a post that has the potential to cause problems, you click on the triangle in the problem post and an input window pops up. You type in your reason for reporting the post and hit the submit/send button. A moderator should be along shortly to check the post out and take appropriate action.

You should receive a thank you PM from a moderator also. This is not automatic, but usually the moderator will PM you. I try to do a thank you PM every time myself, but I do at times forget.

Also, occasionally the post may just sit there with no apparent action being taken. This usually happens because the moderators are trying to figure out what to do with the reported post. And contrary to popular belief, this delay isn’t because all of the moderators are asleep. Well most of the time anyway. ;)

Thought I would dig this old post up. We currently have a lot of spammers trying to register. If any get in and post any spam, please help out by reporting their post so that we can dispose of them and their post immediately.

FYI, if bat signal ain’t woking properly don’t worry signal will stil go thru to a moderator. :)
