Lost Gains and can't get them back

I’ve had breaks doing PE for the last year, but before then when I was doing it more regularly I noticed that I had lost 1/4 inch of my 1/2 inch total erect length gains. So I was 5 1/2 inches erect length. My max before this was 5 3/4 inches.

I came back to PE for the last few weeks and found signs that I was getting some gains with it such as an increasingly longer flaccid length after a PE heating/stretching/jelqing session.

But on the numerous times I’ve measured my erect length over the last week I find that still have the same measurement as before - 5 1/2 inches.

It seems that I not only did I lose my maximum gains before, but I can’t get back to that, let alone surpass it. I wonder if I did some permanent muscle damage to my PE before last year and that it made my muscles contract too much, and now the damage won’t let them stretch, I’m not sure.

I wonder what people here suggest or advise? Can anyone help with what is happening with this situation? It’s disappointing tremendously as no matter what I do, I can’t get any real length extensions to my penis and it’s always stuck on no growth.

“I came back to PE for a few weeks”

You need to put more time in.

As they say, PE is a marathon, not a sprint.

So far I’ve regained about an 1/8” of the 1/2 length I lost. You will probably regain it but not overnight.

Thans sta-kool. I hope you’re right. It’s just that when I was doing PE regularly the last time I was stuck at a reduced length that I couldn’t increase and change. It’s why I had to take a break.

I’m about 3 weeks in now and there’s no sign of getting that increase back. I wonder if I should do any alterations to my current PE to push the length increase or not?

Also so far I haven’t bothered doing Kegels. I don’t believe they make much difference to length (they don’t much to my erection solidness), so I also wonder if I should do them.

Good question sometimes I wonder if we all stopped for a year or 2 and tried it all over again how would our results really be. A measurement of its permanence.

I have quit for a year and lost nothing. But this was after 5 years or more. I quit for much of 2015 for certain. No issues.

Now: 9" BPEL x 6.25" MSEG as of 11/10/2019 This is my story, a few progress pics of me here, and all my methods.

Then: 6.25" x 4.37" in 8/2009 Are you new to PE? Here's some advice I wish someone had given me when I first started.

My Extender and forward to 10" and balls enhancement project. There is no "Holy Grail" of Penis Enlargement. Only time and effort works. I'm *10* years in and counting. All you have to do is put the work in and keep the faith.

Start hanging or extending. At your stats that’s the way to go.

I think about 1/4” of my length gains are always elastic / impermanent. It comes back when I do dedicated length work, and then gradually reverts over a year or so of no length work, but the other 1.6” gain appears to be permanent, or at least requires very little maintenance.

Before 5.5" x 4.1" ///////// Now 7.4" x 4.9"

My peak BPEL was at 19,0 cm. I always seem to revert back to 17,5/17,0 cm BPEL, but never below that.

After getting back into the game and doing what I consider a fairly big effort (but probably not enough), my last measurement is at 18,0 cm BPEL and still below my all time high.

I think you probably just need to stick to your guns and stay with your routine. Maybe change it up and add hanging/extender as suggested by BeardedDragon.

I’d like to do more hanging and extending. I used an ESL40 on and off since Christmas but I couldn’t keep consistent use as it kept giving my glans blisters. It was only meant to be a starter into hanging and even then I had trouble. I want to use more advanced extenders but not sure what ones to use.

Meanwhile I’ll stick to my guns and do my PE as before, but maybe change it up a bit. I just don’t know what variations to do, or what may improve or worsen results.

I actually would not worry too much. Erections can vary pretty much and up to half an inch in BPEL.

But I would recommend you to develop consistency in your routine and keeping it for a couple of months. Changing routine often and measuring often is not a guarantee for success, but more a guarantee for remaining in the guessing zone.

Stick to a defined routine, whatever you think is working, measure once a month and not more and wait for at least 3 months before modyfing the routine if nothingg happens. But if something happens then stick to that very routine until you stall for at least three months.

Just my 2 cents of how I approach PE the systematic way.

Hope it helps

I usually lose 1/4” when taking a break. And I too usually pick it back up in no more than 10 days. But I’ve also been super lazy over the years and added less than 1” total. If you’ve added more, it may take longer to get it back.

I wanna stipulate (or re-stipulate) that I was actually losing gains the last time I was doing PE consistently, about a year or 2 ago. I noticed I was losing 1/4 of an inch of my original 1/2 inch gain.

So I conclude that I was overtraining at that time. (Maybe I was overtraining because I increased my stretching and jelqing time for too long which caused me to contract?)

So I wonder if this ‘damage’ that was done to my penis could be permanent and that even with the breaks that I took to recondition, that tissue damage is still there and is fighting me from getting my gains back? As of now I’ve been doing PE, with the same normal routine as before, solidly between 1 and 2 months. Still no increase.

Anyone advise?

My only advice is to be patient and stay with it. A month or two isn’t always a long enough time to see gains. If your routine is sound, there’s no reason to change anything, at least not yet. Give it time.

JayFlash,

My advice would be to reframe how you’re thinking about this. So you lost a 1/4 inch of your gains the last time you did PE. That doesn’t necessarily indicate damage or overtraining. Sometimes PE is just a 2 steps forward, 1 step back endeavor.

Now you’ve been back at it a month after some down time. You know this a marathon and not a sprint. Furthermore with your girth, remember that length gains are going to come slowly - even small length gains represent large volume gains for you. So think in terms of months and years.

Don’t jump to the conclusion of permanent damage, over training, losses - unless 6 months or a year of consistent PE has gone by - and even then don’t think about it like that, instead think of tweaking your routine to find a way that works.

Stay positive about all this. You won the cock lottery by finding this place and now you just have to cash your ticket in over the next several years.

The average healthy penis is incredibly resilient to PE stresses, provided enough rest is taken.

And again, I think you should be extending or hanging with your starting stats. Do all the research on it. Spend a few months getting back up to condition doing manuals, and read up on it during those months. Then make the leap to extending or hanging. It takes a while to learn the technique, then it allows you to get in a lot of extra time with minimal effort. Length is very much about time and heat, at least for me.

Thanks for the advice. I hope the repeated routine picks up the gains as before, so I’ll keep on doing it.

I am also using an all day stretcher with me ESL40. Now that I’ve got the hang of using it right, hopefully this will help with gains too. Maybe I’ll look into ways of improving my routine that I’m doing now as well, while also avoiding risks to overtraining it with these changes.

I wondered also that sometimes when I do stretching (after heating) my penis isn’t as flaccid as I would like, there’s a bit of fullness or thickness in it still, like it’s semi excited, trying to get erect. I wonder if doing my 20 minutes of stretching session when it’s not fully soft may work negatively and reduce gains basically? Like it’s fighting what I’m doing and contracting too much, too many times? Sometimes in the past it has done this and sometimes it does it now. Maybe this has contributed to my my loss of gains?

I think ADS are almost useless used solo. But when combined with hand stretching/hanging, I think they increase the rate of gains, because they keep the penis from contracting while wearing them.
