Looking for the perfect clamp

My Wenchette is looking for an intimate companion. Cable Clamps are wonderful and fast, yet they are only coarsely adjustable and can be hard on the hands when applying tightly.

To avoid these problems, my Wenchette switched to Turn-Key Clamps. They provide fine, continuous adjustment and are easy on the hands. The only drawbacks are speed of application/removal and their tendency to wear after a month of two of heavy use.

Wanting nothing but the best, dear Wenchette is continuing her search. She may have found a promising companion here: http://www.bree … mps.com/jet.htm

This worm gear driven hose clamp allows the screw mechanism to lift out of the way for fast application and removal. The screw only engages when the device is under tension. It’s fast on and fast off, after a quick squeeze.

Put a thumscrew on it, and Wenchette have her perfect intimate companion.

I just got a package of Turn Key Clamps a few hours ago, and so far I think these are the best ever. I especially like how I can put it on my dick when it’s not 100% erect and it will still develop considerable penile turgidity (how’s that for fancy talk?). I can also put it further down the shaft than my cable clamp or multi-clamp, and once it’s there, it stays there — I’m experiencing very little “shaft creep.”

But the jet clamp with a thumb screw might be the ulitimate.

Now we need someone to make these things out of nylon or another hard plastic…

Why plastic? Metal is stronger and wears more slowly.

I’ve thought of using one of those removeable plastic tie wraps, but they require a tool to make them really tight. We don’t want any stinkin’ tools. They’re also very slender, and I’m a bit afraid they’d dig in too much.

I’m probably sounding spoiled. I really love the Turn-Key clamps. They’re just a little slow to put on and take off. And they do wear out after a couple of months.

Make sure you check out the T-bolt clamps on that site in addition to the Jet Clamps. The latching mechanism for the T-bolt clamps is a lot like the Bib Hanger’s top nut arrangement. The basic idea is, you squeeze the open ends together, drop the nut down into its anchor, and tighten it down. The things I’m striving for are fast on, fast off, and continuously variable tighness. These offer that.

Oh yeah. I also want a thumb screw. I’ve emailed the company and asked whether they offer the clamp with a thumb screw.

Even if they don’t, I wonder how hard it would be to add one. Have you ever seen a thumb “screw” or knob with a hex head. A little epoxy and you’re done.

I oil my hoseclamp for longer use. I bought this one about a year ago. The picture shows there’s a surface scratch but I can’t feel any dent with my finger :)

Great pic, Piet. My Turn-Key Clamp is starting to wear inside the slots, on the sides where the screw pushes when tightening the clamp. I’m sure oil would help, but I don’t know what it will do to the velcro on my Wenchette if it gets on it.

Of course, they’re so cheap. Buying a new one each month or two isn’t going to be a problem.

Plastic, or something, because I keep fearing I’m going to be sliced by the edge of the metal clamp, especially the 2+ inches of slack that appears when I tighten the clamp down. I have some soft foam pipe insulation around, and I think I’ll take some of that and make a sort of sheath for the slack.

I can’t believe you guys are using these metal clamps. Won’t the skin on your penis get cut from the sharp edge or get caught in the under binding part? It sounds painful to use.

I think you might be interested in trying a “pipe tightener” from the local hardware store. I picked one up and have been using it recently as it has given me expansion that others seem to get from clamps. It isn’t as easy to conceal as a clamp but I have been evening out my baseball bat shape and damn does it feel good.

I’m going to continue to look for something more suitable and less smelly as the rubber that is used in the construction smells terrible and is probably not good at all- so I always use a wrap.

Good idea to start this thread, I’m sure there are many more solutions out there.

Feck! Just yesterday I sliced my finger on the slack end of this clamp (right after submitting my response to you). I had previously cut it to size so there wouldn’t be a huge overlap, but apparently I didn’t file down the sharp edges well enough.

I’ve now covered the edges of the slack end with electrical tape to prevent this mishap from recurring.

I personally don’t use this device for clamping. I use it to tighten down the Wenchette. With the Wenchette, there are a couple of layers of Velcro plus a wrap between the clamp and the skin, so the chances of an accident like you’re worried about are next to zero.

When clamping, most guys use some kind of wrap. So again, the chances of injury from this sort of thing is low.

Fast, easy, infinite settings and cheap. I use them for clamp work and find them far superior to cable clamps. I have never tried them with my wench though.

PS

Cool. How do you get them tight enough? Also, do you find that the curved part where the loose ends of the tie come together to have the proper radius to match that of your shaft?

Being a sneaky motherfecker, stealth is critical for me. Along the same vein, however, I’ve seen “tighteners” at the hardware store with metal straps. I’m not sure they can be reduced to the size of a penis (I think they’re actually made for changing oil filters). Those would be perfect except for the big handles hanging down. Hmmm.

That thing in the lower left in a knob. You turn it to tighten. That curved part is very flexible so it will match any girth.

These are very dangerous for girth work because they will cut off all blood supply if you tighten enough. Also, they press down on the nerve bundle more than say a bib starter.

For a wench they might be perfect because of the reasons previously listed and because you might be able to apply two of them for further adjustability of the hanger.
