Long Term Penile Damage

Here is a thought I’ve had recently. PE, as we know it here, has not really been properly “tested” till now, so we really don’t have any idea as to what kind of long term effects it has.

Impotence in old age cause of overuse? Flabby muscle syndrome that bodybuilders (eg. Arnie Gropenegger)? So on, and so on.

Sure, it works in the short term, but both practically and theoretically, what are we doing to our dick in the long run? Are we making them stronger and healthier, or vice-versa?

See, the problem is, there probably isn’t a person about who has been doing PE for 30-40 years that could resolve this issue.

Whoareyou,

This issue is raised from time to time, and may have some fundamental, but there are guys on this board PEing for several years now with no negative side effects - just the opposite.

Obviously overdoing it, even without going to the extent of injury, is not going to be good longterm. However Pe done correctly has worked miracles for older blokes so I’m all for it.

Personally, gentle jelging from time to time just FEELS healthy to me, as does going for a gentle jog. I listen to my body.

Ciao

Yeah, I know what you mean Guiri.

But I mean, let me make the analogy. A natural sun tan looks good. It feels good if you don’t over-do it too. And alas, for many millions it feels healthy too.

However, if you spend a lifetime maintaining a nice natural tan, by the time you are 50 or 60, your skin will look akin to something like a Pekingese Pug’s. Not to mention cancer, etc etc.

Now I’m not implying anything of the such to PE, just wanted to make this analogy to illustrate what i mean.

Hi whoareyou,
I think I understand your analogy, but it’s sort of like comparing apples to pineapples. According to my physician, there is no such thing as a “healthy suntan.” Some appear to be nice, healthly shades of gold or bronze, but a “tan” is really just burn with a nicer hue to it. Maybe luvdadus can weigh in…

The way I understand PE, it is essentially a vascular exercise. When the vascular system is pushed to certain limits, the results are beneficial. That’s why people jog, swim, etc. And just like with these other vascular exercises, if you overdo it, you can injure yourself.

Comments from the experts?

I did PE over 17 years ago and did it for about 1.5 to 2 years. I have suffered no ill effects from it however it is only fair to say that my techniques at the time involved only pumping and some moderate stretching.
I am only one of many and my example can not really be indicative of what the trend might be (for that combination of techniques) but my guess is that if PE is done properly and carefully—no serious injury will be sustained and no negative long term effects will manifest. I believe similar to Guiri in that you will have a healthier unit.

Guiri—its great to see you back man!!! ;)

If you knew you could not fail...what would you attempt to do? Female Foot Fetish Current Stats: 5/4/10 8.5BPx6.0, 7.5NBP Achieved Goal and have been on maintenance program since

2006.

I think quite the opposite is true. If you want to ensure a healthy and functioning cock as you age, then PE is the way to go. I am now 52 and when I started over 2 years ago, I was well on my way to ED. Now my cock has never been so healthy looking and my erections are huge and rock solid.

I don’t know who Arnie Gropenegger is, but here in the states we have a guy, Jack LaLaine, who is like 85 years old and the toughest fittest dude around. Not sure if he does PE, but just from his physical conditioning, he brags about his morning woodies.

If you want to maintain your physical well being, I would recommend a lifetime of physical activity and if you want to maintain a healthy cock I would recommend a lifetime of PE of stretching and jelqing.

The old saying “use it or lose it” applies for your entire physical well being.

A person who lifts weights for a short term effect may look good for a number of years and then if he discontinues the workout regimen - how can he expect to maintain the effects? I think you need to determine what PE is. There are several cases of guys on here who were overweight and had developed or were developing various degrees of ED. And then they decided to start working out , and adopted a PE Regimen as well and have either cured or at least improved their health from their Pre PE condition. So I prefer to look at it from that perspective. Have we decided to Change our bodies over the long haul? Yes. But the long term effects will be an improvement. The body will age whether or not we take the time to maintain it or not. Look at Jack Lalanne. That guy is in his eighties and still going strong. Because he always worked out. By the way - Body builders are not always the healthiest examples to use. A lot of them abuse their bodies by taking steroids, and we all know steroids do not improve ones health. The same can be said of PE. Unles a person overdoes it - changes occur. These changes are for the better or we wouldnt be doing them.

We are the lab rats bro, so far my dick is only healthier but who knows maybe when I’m 90 I won’t be able to get it up anymore I can only hope for the best.

I think if you are able to get it up when you turn 90, you will be one hell of a man. And, the pimpdaddy of the nursing home too, for that matter.

Hahhahahahaha… Arnie Schwarzenegger.

Sorry, but I found that funny. Remember when he became the groper during his election run?!

OK, so I missed that one!!!

But you think “Arnie” has some kind of flabby muscle syndrome? That guy is fit as a fiddle. He is smaller then he was a peak, but still in shape. Hard as a rock.

Nah I don’t think he’s in shape at all! That’s the thing - I saw a pic of him recently, and he’s gone completely droopy! He’s gotten “fat”. Well, kind of. THis massive ol’ love handles, and he probaboy wears a bitch-tits bra too. (Okay, now I’m just being nasty :P)

And I think being a politician will just worsen that now. You know. All those cakes, coffee and interns.

Arnold Flabbenegger.

I think you have your standards meter stuck on the statue of David, but, alas, he is made of stone. Just what exactly are you looking for anyway?

If you are happy with your current size, then depart and be happy. If you want to grow larger then jelq and enjoy the benefits of a well functioning cock.

If you want to be stronger, then exercise.

But whatever you chose to improve, it basically is a lifetime commitment. There is nothing wrong with working hard to stay healthy.

whoareyou,

I have been PEing for health reasons consistantly for almost 20 years now. The only down side to the health benifits is my 18” X 9” unit.

I agree with those that compair it to maintaining cardio and lean muscle as we age (it’s a good thing.) But you are right we don’t really know.
