If you have a lot of time, go for it. I think you should start with about 1 lbs. Depending on the kind of hanger you are going to use, it will require some hours to learn how to properly do hanging. After this first stage, I think you can raise the weigth adding very very little when you think you need it.

I have to say that in my personal views hanging with so little weight is not a good choice when you can use an extender or similar devices. You can have a walk or go to see a movie wearing an extender or an Ads, (first times you’ll not have the balls, but after a while you’ll be able), not the same if you do have an hanger with weigths attached to your penis.

Also, you can easily stretch in any direction with an extender, where if you are hanging you do need a pulley.

I would switch to weights whan I have no gains anymore with low tensions.

Anyway, it will not make that much difference in terms of gains, so if you like hanging many hours with light weights go for that.

I have recently started hanging and I actually enjoy the feeling of swinging the weights back and forward… the sick thing is, I would probably do it even if penis enlargement wasn’t possible lol.

bjective: The aim of the study was to evaluate the effectiveness of local hyperthermia in reducing possible penile shortening following radical retropubic prostatectomy.

Patients and methods: The study population comprised 40 patients, aged 52–74 years, submitted to radical retropubic prostatectomy. Patients were divided into two groups of 20. In Group A, patients were submitted to local hyperthermia 3 weeks after surgery, three times a week, with treatment lasting 30min. Patients received a total of 10 applications, which reached a local temperature of 39–40°C. A second cycle was repeated after 1 month. In Group B, patients were submitted only to post-operative follow-up once a month. Penile length was measured in all patients both before and 3 months after surgery in the ‘stretching phase’ from the pubo-penile junction to the tip of the glans.

Results: In Group A patients (hyperthermia treatment), no variation in penile length was observed in 16 cases (80%), while the reduction ranged from 0.5–1.5cm in four cases (20%). In Group B, 12 patients (60%) showed a reduction in penile length ranging from 0.5–2.5cm, while penile length remained unchanged in eight patients (40%).

Conclusions: Results of this study demonstrate a mild but statistically relevant reduction in penile shortening following low-grade, externally delivered penile hyperthermia, thus confirming the efficacy of this approach in preventing penile shortening caused by post-ischaemic fibrosis.

OBJECTIVE: Previous experience in the treatment of plaque with hyperthermia in orthopaedics led the authors to investigate the effectiveness of this approach in patients with Peyronie’s disease.

PATIENTS AND METHODS: The study population comprised 60 patients (aged 36-76 years) with advanced Peyronie’s disease. Patients were divided into two groups (A and B), with 30 in each. Group A patients underwent local hyperthermia treatment, with 30-min treatment sessions twice a week for 5 weeks. Patients received a total of 10 applications, which reached a local temperature of 39-40 degrees C. A second cycle was repeated after a 1-month interval for a total of 20 treatment sessions. Group B patients were treated with intra-plaque infiltrations using 10 mg verapamil; they received one infiltration once a week for 3 months. Differences between the two groups, as well as between variables (before and after treatment), were analysed using Student t-test and Fisher test.

RESULTS: Hyperthermia significantly reduced plaque size and penile curvature and led to an increase in mean scores of erectile function (EF) domain, while verapamil had no such effects. Haemodynamic parameters were not significantly modified in either group. Hyperthermia caused significantly fewer side effects than verapamil infiltrations and was significantly more effective in preventing disease progression. There were no significant differences between the two groups in terms of pain reduction during erection.

CONCLUSIONS: Results of this study stress the efficacy of hyperthermia in the treatment of advanced Peyronie's disease."

That entirely depends on how conditioned you are. If your penis is super conditioned, hanging a light weight for a short time isn’t going to do much. Weight and time need adjusting to the state of your penis. Sometimes they need to be varied day to day according to how fatigued it is. I’d say time is more important than weight. If you get to fatigue by upping weight, you will end up with very tough collagen. If you go lighter and longer you potentially have more ‘creep’ time after reaching mild fatigue before you have to get the weights off or risk damage. However, I think if anyone needs ‘hours and hours’, they’d benefit from a long deconditioning break!

Oh yea, some have reported to gain more while on their breaks from long cycles of hanging. Thanks Firegoat for replying back so fast!

Just a thought but do you guys think that both theories have some basis or could it be better to have periods of PE with no rest I.e 2 weeks with no rest days and then periods with rest I.e 5 on 2 off.

I’ve personally tried both the above ways (only manual) and periods with about 2 weeks with no rest seems to help when I’m not getting any further gains and then I go back to 5 on and 2 off

That could be something to try, kinda a ‘planned overwork’. In physical training periods like that are used.

I regularly have 3 days in a row deliberate over-training, and every 6-8 weeks I take a couple of weeks off. Keeps the penis guessing!

I know it’s a 3 years old post, but this saying repeats many times. I can’t believe some people are convinced that bib actually hanged 8-12 hrs a day. lol . Has anyone been using the “Grip” vaccuum traction device. I had been using a noose type stretching device I made from elastic surgical tubing and a copper

Plumbing coupling and it works ok but has the tendency to slip off (which is painful). Also when hanging larger than 5 lb. Weights your shaft really gets strangulated and blood flow gets cut off. Since I want to hang weights for a longer period the vaccuum approach seems like it would be more comfortable.

Does that over-training result in decreased EQ? And if it does, do the weeks you take off return your EQ back to normal?
