lig stretch vs shaft stretch

lig stretch vs shaft stretch

I have read on the board that lig stretching is important and that there will most likely be gains if the ligs are lenghtened. Is this type of stretch better than focusing on stretching the shaft?

Hanging with the captain’s wench seems to focus 90% on the ligs and 10% on the shaft b/c the device covers so much of the penis. I have been hanging around 10 pounds, 3 sets of 20 mins, 5 days a week for over a month and there haven’t been any gains.

Am I expecting too much gain for too little of a period of time? Or should I change my routine to concentrate more on the shaft?

Do you feel like your ligs are fully stretched?

Jelq the shaft, try jelq squeeses, Uli’s to work the shaft, do both, don’t just settle for hanging.

Speak softly carry a big dick, I'm mean stick!

Don’t worry that the wench covers so much of your shaft. The force from the hanger is actually concentrated in front of the hanger, not underneath it, so you can expect roughly the entire length of your shaft to be stretched when you hang with it.

The Bib works the same way.

The confusion arises because of the (preposterous) claims that some hanger or other can “grip the internals.” No hanger does this. The skin on the shaft is simply too slippery with respect to the deeper tissues.

Compression hangers, like the wench and Bib, work by creating a region of expanded tissue forward of the hanger connection. The expanded tissue forms a “plug” that the hanger wedges up against. The tightness of the hanger prevents blood from escaping too quickly, and maintains the plug.

The plug is compressed and pushed forward by the hanger. To maintain static equilibrium, the plug also pulls back on the CCs, tunica, and skin. But that force is applied near the very tip of the penis, which ensures a good overall shaft stretch regardless of hanger size.

I like this explanation Modesto…nice and simple. I’ve been using a Wench for a while and there’s always a ‘bunching’ of skin at the head (as, I guess, one would expect). In 10 - 15mins, this bunch darkens - which, again, one would expect, hence the need to only hang for 10 - 15mins. However I was about to get a Vacuum Hanger as I thought this bunching was a result of poor gripping by the Wench and only skin was being pulled but perhaps I’m mistaken? Perhaps there is some stretching of the internals?

Although the Wench does not “grip the internals,” it does stretch the internals when it’s attached correctly. Some skin will be stretched as well; it is unavoidable.

What’s important is to attach the Wench low (about 1/4 to 1/2” below your circ scar—toward the base). The skin will bunch as the hanger slides forward under load, but the “plug” will also compress. You will feel the hanger push up against the plug and stop sliding forward. If you don’t feel this, take off the hanger and try again.

It’s important to have some blood in the CCs. You can try jelqing up to a very slight semi (not an erection). Without the plug, compression hangers don’t work.

Vacuum hangers will avoid this problem, as they work through a totally diifferent mechanism. They pull on the glans, which is attached to the CCs via a tendon within the penis. There is no compression and no plug. The only downside of vacuum hangers is the likelihood of blisters. These can be avoided at low to moderate weight, however, by wrapping the glans.
