Latency Gains from Wrapping?
I started PEing in June of this year. My gains went as follows:
June 06 - Gained 1/4”
July 06 - Gained 3/16”
Aug 06 - Gained 1/8”
Sept 06 - Gained 1/8”
Oct 06 - Gained 0”
Sooo… because of slowing gains I decided to do a 2 month decon break and start an IPR based routine in Jan 07.
Having had to work so hard for my 5/8” gain, I didn’t want to risk loosing it. So based on my understanding of IPR based training
I figured during my last month of ever increasing and somewhat brutal routine I had inflicted some, if not a lot of, inflammation.
So, thinking there may still be some proliferation and remodeling going on I decided to wrap during November and possibly December.
I bought a new roll of Johnson & Johnson self-adhesive sports wrap.I use a piece for 1 week before switching to a new one due
to a loss of adhesion and for personal hygiene. I wrap completely flaccid with just stretching to the stopping point and not beyond
and wear it from 8-12 hours per day.
I started measuring daily to make sure my gains were not shrinking. Then something really strange:
After week 1 of wrapping I gained a solid 1/8.”
After week 2 I have gained another 1/8”.
So, after 2 weeks of nothing but rest and wrapping I gained another 1/4” bringing my 5 month and 2 week total to 7/8.”
I have heard of other guys gaining during breaks but wasn’t expecting it at all.
Anyone else had this happen??
