Latency Gains from Wrapping?

I started PEing in June of this year. My gains went as follows:

June 06 - Gained 1/4”
July 06 - Gained 3/16”
Aug 06 - Gained 1/8”
Sept 06 - Gained 1/8”
Oct 06 - Gained 0”

Sooo… because of slowing gains I decided to do a 2 month decon break and start an IPR based routine in Jan 07.
Having had to work so hard for my 5/8” gain, I didn’t want to risk loosing it. So based on my understanding of IPR based training
I figured during my last month of ever increasing and somewhat brutal routine I had inflicted some, if not a lot of, inflammation.
So, thinking there may still be some proliferation and remodeling going on I decided to wrap during November and possibly December.
I bought a new roll of Johnson & Johnson self-adhesive sports wrap.I use a piece for 1 week before switching to a new one due
to a loss of adhesion and for personal hygiene. I wrap completely flaccid with just stretching to the stopping point and not beyond
and wear it from 8-12 hours per day.

I started measuring daily to make sure my gains were not shrinking. Then something really strange:

After week 1 of wrapping I gained a solid 1/8.”
After week 2 I have gained another 1/8”.

So, after 2 weeks of nothing but rest and wrapping I gained another 1/4” bringing my 5 month and 2 week total to 7/8.”

I have heard of other guys gaining during breaks but wasn’t expecting it at all.

Anyone else had this happen??

I’ve recently started wrapping with a ace wrist wrap because of the idea that you shouldn’t let it turtle.

I’d heard of flaccid gains but don’t remember hearing about erect gains from just wrapping.


Short-Term Goal: 6.25" EG by 9/1/14

Long-Term Goal: 10.25" BPEL and 6.5" EG ?

If I had to take a guess, I would say you gained because you finally gave your penis some rest. You say your last month of PE was brutal, correct?

Yea, you’re probably right. My last month was pretty heavy. I agree, I don’t think the wrapping actually led to the gains
but that not letting it turtle is allowing the injuries to heal in an extended state. Do you think this could be the case?

Also, does anyone see a problem with continual wrapping during R phase? Just very light tension, not enough to cause tissue stress?

I have no ideas on the theory of what is causing the length growth but I certainly would carry on doing what you are for now (i.e just wrapping) and seeing if any other gains come along.

I wonder if your first 3 months of gains came about as you were training within the sweetspot and then halted once you added (length, reps, time) to your routine.

Were you doing any girth exercises?

larealty77, that’s a definite possibility. I think I stepped up the intensity way too soon.
Yea, I guess I’ll just continue with the same until the end of my decon break.

I did pumping, clamping and jelking for girth and picked up 1/4” girth. I have, however, lost 1/8” of it since I started my decon break.
I’m hoping it will come back easily.
