Streching ligaments to the extent that hanging does is what concerns me sometimes with hanging. I’d imagine the region becomes unstable overtime as do all areas that incur significant lig stretching.

I prefer a much milder stretch on the ligs with the focus on all around growth - thickness and length in three dimensions - not just ligs stretching especially to the extent with hanging.

I think too much jelqing is not benefitial

I am new to this. When in the beginning I started doing it everyday, I started getting roping effect and my penis didnt look good. I also had difficulty getting good erection. Then I took a break of one month. I started again recently, every other day. Now I have very strong erections. The penis head looks real good. I have raging morning erections.
I will continue and see….


That is exactly what I experienced way back when. I was doing jelq 6 days, 20 - 30 minute sessions. My erections sucked and growth was very slow. I remember reading others going through this and the advice was usually - oh well, you are not doing enough - do an hour a day or add squeezes or pull harder. I tried that, but the condition seemed to worsen.

I surfer around and found a board where some guy was going on about gains he was having doing only 15 minutes every other day and sometimes with skipping 2 days. I thought it sounded like bs but when I tried it, the erections were much stronger - startlingly so. I was still addicted to daily jelqing 5-6 days with 1-2 rest days so it took me a while to fall into every other day but as I did it got better and good gains did come.

I think the thing you need to have is patience, give it a couple months and don’t cheat by doing more - that is important! More overstresses it and it will not grow - it will simply stay in a state of irritation and inflammation.

If no gains come you could always try something else.

Just one last point. I disagree with this…..

This is faulty logic here - the more you jelq - the more scar tissue you are creating - but with the dreadful side effect of not gaining!

You are still forming scar tissue when you sleep at night - you are just not taking it to its logical conclusion of growth because it may not be enough rest - you are still scarring the hell out of the thing just not benefitting from it as much as you could.

Some might argue that there is no proof scarring actually happens or happens in a way that has much to do with the cause of growth - some say that cells either expand or divide and this is where rest is critical - to allow this to happen fully before more stress is applied.

In any case, if scarring is happening, it still is happening with more frequent workouts - its just happening more frequently and you are not getting the gift of full growth potential from it because of inadequate rest possibly.

So I think frequent jelqing with less rest is the recipe for a scarring disaster, if scarring is happening to such an extent that you suggest - which I don’t think it is.

I mean, if you are first saying that everyone needs to rest their dick (4 days) - then my question is to you, why?

If it’s a growth or rejuvenation issue, wouldn’t more frequent rest periods cause more growth and rejuvenation?

Why build up 6 days of stress and inflammation and then rest one day (which probably wont recover your dick anyway) when you can rest it for a day after stressing it and getting some growth to build on right away.

Some might argue that 24 hours is adequate time to grow and recover - and maybe it is for some. For me it wasn’t and I suspect for others who’ve had poor or no gains, the same might be true for them. In any case, an extra 24 hours only makes sure the dick has recovered and recovered well.

The better quality hardon seems to affirm this (as well as quick growth of dick).

I can confirm the thing someone said about being too enthusiastic/frustrated and beating the crap out of your dick only to have negative results… it has happened to me alot before and I never really realised it until I read this, but that what I do is probably detremental to growth, not “sparking up” new gains…

I can relate to frustration too - I gained all of what I have gained up until the start of this year, and I’ve had practically nothing all year since…..

so yeah I think I’m beginnging to understand what it can be like to work hard and get no pay off…. hold in there buddy, I sure will…

You have no idea what you are talking about, nor have you made any attempt to learn what has been put in front of your nose on these boards, so I am done with this thread. Well, I certainly know that the routine I use works, and as far as I know, no one really knows the mechanism of growth in the penis as affected by PE for sure so its a little high of you to say someone doesn’t know what they are talking about when all you are going by is an asumption.

I tend to agree that you don’t have to beat up your dick to get results. When the frustration gets to that point it is time to try something else :)

You need to knock it off with the insults and provide some data and/or other successful PE routines to back up musings about what may or may not work. You have yet to back up your ideas with anatomy and physiology- only referring to ONE book like it is the bible. We know what causes connective tissue to stretch and this applies to PE unless that tissue is different, but that is not demonstrated in my books or in cadavers. I have backed everything I have said with real world clinical and research data- you are guessing. As I said before, I am done on this thread.

There are many books that discuss this. The evidence has been available for some time but has simply been ignored because the implications would probably be disastrous for the economy (not to mention the medical community as far as complete loss of face goes). But that day is coming regardless of what we write here.

The penis is not like connective tissue in the rest of the body. Its very unique in the way it has to behave compared to other connective tissue and if you can’t see that then you are a moron.

Now, as you said before, be done with the thread already will ya.

I really appreciate a person that has the knowledge and the drive to argue a point but I believe that your facts are not sound with respect to carbohydrate intake. I have heard many nutritionists speak erroneously about diet, and specifically, protein/fat/carb ratios that should make up a healthy diet. Truly, fat is not the enemy… carbs are.

Another really good book is Going Against The Grain - which is brilliant. Very, very well written - this book is actually getting approval from doctors who had once not to long ago frowned upon low carb nutrition and for one reason and one reason only - devastating evidence.

However, for the mechanism in super easy to understand detail along with references, nothing beats Life Without Bread.

These books also go into great discussion about the lipid/cholestorol theory of heart disease, completely and thoroughly debunking that myth. The cause of heart disease is inflammation and hormonal imbalances caused by over consumption of carbohydrates, especially gluten ones.

Type 2 diabetes has skyrocketed in the last decade and it is estimated that in 20 years every american (and many non americans) will be dangerously overweight. This is all happening in a context of much lessened fat consumption and increased use of whole/refined grains. The increase of whole grain use has been associated with many autoimmune diseases and vitamin deficiencies due to antinutrients and gultens.

To make a long story short, it is precisely the beliefs and recommendations of ignorant nutritionists that is causing great suffering in the world. I say when the evidence is in (and it really has been in for a while) that one not be to quick to say oh, they were just following what they were told. Nonsense- the evidence is there and has been. Its just a whole industry protecting itself and I think its disgusting.

Sorry but I thought he was being rude to me saying how I haven’t read his posts like they are definitve proof of the mechanism of growth in PE. I also don’t hang so I’m not really interested in the lengthening processes of hanging wieghts for very long periods from the dick and the theories behind it.

I’ve alread ygained a good measure of length and am working, successfully to gain more girth now which isn’t aptly explained by lengthening of ligs theories.
