Well I’ve started getting blisters from my VacHanger and have exhausted all other types of hangers so…I’m gonna fork out and get a bib hanger. My only worry it covers too much of the shaft which will prevent me from heating up everywhere as much as I’d like to. Hope it’s still manageable. Anyone else use a bib for their ‘cord lengthening’?

The blood will carry the heat around.

firegoat is fully RETIRED from Thundersplace.

All injuries happen from "too much", or "too much, too soon" or "doing the exercise incorrectly".

Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. The ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth. Basics.... firegoat roll How to use the Search button for best results

What went wrong? How many lbs/sets did you do?

Have always gotten a lot of fluid buildup and I’m guessing some of the outer tissue just finally couldn’t take it anymore, cause I got 3 small blisters in different places on the glans, all in the same, final set. 3 sets x 12 minutes, bout 5.4lbs.

I feel the cord but I don’t feel like it’s limiting me from stretching. When I stretch certain ways I can literally feel the dorsal thickening stretching (like stretching a muscle or whatever). It was not noticeable until I had gained .25” after starting back with a dedicated routine. Now I will focus all of my efforts on stretching that cord until the bottleneck is something else.

When I say “I don’t feel like it’s limiting me from stretching,” I don’t mean that it’s not an obvious bottleneck. It definitely is a bottleneck, but I definitely feel it stretch when I do the right stuff, so it is able to be conquered.

I can’t figure out if I have this cord or not. I have a slight upwards curve but It’s really small. My stretched length is just a little bit longer than erect length. Should I be able to feel the cord under my penis? If I touch under my penis with my finger I can feel some kind of line that goes through the whole penis. If I follow this line it will go in just above my balls and just below my penis.

eow123 I can’t say for sure, but it sounds like you have it but it’s not an issue yet. If you keep gaining overall length in your penis (without lengthening the cord), it may soon become the only limiting factor, and you may develop more of an upward curve as a result.

Mongoloeyd We call it dorsal thickening because it’s on the top. There are lots of structures in the penis that might feel like a cord if you run your finger along them, but aren’t what we’re concerned with here. There is no ‘should’. All I can say, really, is that if the stretch feels concentrated totally within one ‘cord-like’ structure that runs the length of the penis, rather than feeling the stretch evenly across the entire penis, then you’ve got the cord. If not, then don’t worry about!

The problem is that despite the 40 pages of this thread, no one really knows what this cord structure is or why some people seem to have it while other don’t and why some get it after gaining length.

Ok, thank you.

I started PE about 5 years ago. Gained about .5”x.2”, and ever since have been utterly stuck. I am certain I have dorsal thickening and feel that basically no practical amount of stretching and hanging (at least with under 13 lbs — I have only used vacuum hanger) will make it budge. I feel my hands get tired to quickly to get anything out of stretching because I would need to do it for too long at too high force for results. I am uncut so reluctant to go through all the trouble of bib, but vac hanging just hasn’t done anything since the first .5”.

Is there any precedent whatsoever of extenders working for people with “the cord”?

On the one hand, extenders seem to be nearly the only PE thing that has been “proven” to work in scientific studies. However, they are also much lower force than hanging, for example. They can be worn for much longer than a hanger, though.

Is there any reason to believe that extender use might be an avenue that could work where others do not those of us with tough septums? Is anyone aware of any cases of people seeing gains from extenders at stages of their PE career where other techniques had stopped working?

The CHORD is simply the septum - which is the tough fibrous seperator between the CC’s. Look on the penis anatomy chart ( know your anatomy, lol ). It feels like a chord because when you draw it tight, it narrows until it reaches it’s stretching limit and it’s tough.

It’s just like if you grabbed a towel each end balled up in your hands and pulled it tight.

sentii don’t bother with an extender. That is how I started my PE journey. It made absolutely no impact on the mighty cord whatsoever. I also gained about half an inch from hanging with vacuum hangers, using less weight than you did, but found any more was simply too uncomfortable. You should look into hanging with a TDP far-infrared lamp, that is what I had the best results with. I’ve posted about it before in this thread, but if you want more info just ask.

djrobins I agree it appears to be the septum but that doesn’t explain why it is a strong limiting factor for some people while others have absolutely no idea what we’re even talking about when we discuss the cord.

People that don’t feel it, may not have reached their length gains within the penis where the septum is the limiter. At least that what some of us suspect.

We also don’t think when you can feel the septum drawn tight that there is no more length gain within the penis, it’s just something is going to have to give. And the septum will have to advance somehow, some way…
