I have been reading up about Kegels again, I have read many people who do it everyday and those who do it every other day. As far as I remember when I started (long time ago) I think I did it everyday and it worked, but is there not a risk of overworking it? Maybe every other day is even better? Does anyone have a better understanding?

I heard you can overwork the muscle. I personally do kegels whenever I remember to do them since there boring as hell, which comes out to be 2 out of every 3 days. Doing kegels aids any pe routine IMO.

Started: Bpel 7 mseg 4.5

Current: Bpel 7.5 mseg 4.75

Goal: at least 8.5X6.5

You can definitely overwork the muscle.

You will know when….most likely reduced pop distance and a dull to slightly burning sensation

06/21/07 NBP = 7.75(tape) FSL = 7.875 EG = 5.00 Volume= 15.42

09/13/07 NBP = 8.375 FSL = 8.75 EG = 5.38 Volume = 19.29 (+25%)

12/26/07 NBP = 8.625 FSL = 8.75 EG = 5.50 Volume = 20.82 (+35%)

So anyone know a definitive answer?

It’s like any other muscle. Nothing mysterious about it. Overdoing it will significantly affect your EQ. The best way to experiment with kegels is when you’re on a long break from PE. You’ll see that when you do just enough kegels, you have better morning/night erections, you last longer and you have more intense orgasms. When you overdo it, you’ll have no morning/night erections.

When you’re doing PE exercises and kegels, then it’s harder to determine which is affecting your EQ (positively or negatively). I would just play it safe and kegel 3 days a week, starting off with very few sets/reps and slowly add sets/reps each week. For instance:

1st Week: 3 days x 2 sets x 10 reps
2nd Week: 3 days x 2 sets x 12 reps
3rd Week: 3 days x 3 sets x 10 reps

To some folks this might seem very conservative, but I strongly feel in the long run it’s the best way to build a strong BC muscle. Also it leaves room for sex/masturbation which also exercises the BC muscle.
