Kegel Exercises Put me to Sleep

So,

Of all of the PE work everyone does, I’d be willing to bet that most people don’t really understand the importance of Kegel exercises for men as it applies to EQ and ejaculation control.

I’ve been working pretty diligently on kegels since this last summer (2008) But, trying to find the time, and be able to focus on the different muscles in the pelvic floor, can be a challenge.

Well, I’ve figured out that when I am having trouble falling asleep, and counting sheep ain’t cutting it, .. I exercise my pelvic floor. What I’ve found, is that I can get through a couple of sets, and then I start missing my counts because I’m falling asleep.

My new pattern, and time I take out for me kegel exercises is at bedtime. Try it, you may find that it works great for you as well.

Has anyone else had the same experience?

I am trying this tonight, I had trouble sleeping yesterday and just looked out the window. It didn’t occur to me that I could get some kegels in.

It’s amazing how it’s worked for me. It puts your mind on something other than the stress or stresses of the day, week or month, and you might “catch yourself” dozing off during your counts. (it’s pretty cool. Good Luck!)

It does the same for me. I actually think of it as kind of a meditative state.

I do my kegels at night in bed, I agree that they have a meditative quality about performing them. I don’t try to count them though just focus on trying to hold them for 10 or 15 seconds.

Size is little more than a controllable perception without an accurate means of measurement.

I have had many sleeping problems for a long time. I’m really gonna give this a shot tonight. It’s actually got me excited, thanks for tip guys ;)


one month in (as of 02/12/09): 8.15" BPEL, 7.4" NBPEL, 5.6"EG, (5"-6.5" varying) FL, 4.75" FG, Height: 6'1", Weight: 190 lbs.

Currently (as of 04/3/09): 8.50" BPEL, 7.6" NBPEL, 5.7"EG, (5.5"-7" varying) FL, 4.75" FG, Height: 6'1", Weight: 175 lbs. (final semester of Computer Science > Gym :( )

Goals (in the next 6 months): 8.60" BPEL, 7.8" NBPEL, 6" EG, 7" FL, 5" FG, (still hopefully 6'1"), Weight: 200 lbs.

I’m also a bad sleeper, tonight I try kegels. Acid you may want to do them while driving that’s when I do mine, just don’t fall asleep:) .

I definitely do them when I am driving any time I think about it. But, I know that if I make a habit out of it at bedtime, I know I’ll do them on a regular schedule. Plus I wouldn’t want to put other people’s lives in danger :D

PS Let me know if it worked to get you alseep.

My kegels put me to sleep again last night. Did any of my subjects in this experiment have success? (or all you all still sleeping? :D )

It didn’t work for me but it was comforting and I should note that I was in a foreign household sleeping on an uncomfortable couch.

A step up from this would be doing kegels while being asleep for a really deep sleep. Try it out Acid and see how that works out.

Maybe doing them in the morning would be better?
