Jelq technique.

It seems there are two schools of thought on jelqing technique. Maybe they are not so separate but some sites and videos recommend different jelqing methods. The two main differences seem to be speed of jelq stroke.

I have always pretty much been a three second jelqer - with each stroke lasting at least three seconds. Lately though, mainly out of boredom with my routine, I’ve been mixing it all up. I’ve also added 4 - 30 second stretches which really work btw! I’ve always like the palms down approach to jelqing because it gives a better stretch for me over palms up. Also, palms up makes me too hard to really squeeze. Now that I’m actually using stretching as a separate exercise, I’m using the jelq mainly to encourage girth gains. So I’m using a palms up/palm down slow fast jelq routine and i like this routine. Yesterday, I decided to palm up it with a fast jelq stroke (about a second each stroke, one after the other) for 15 minutes. This got me very hard pretty quickly, and by the time I finished, my dick looked a lot bigger than when it gets hard normally. I got a toilet paper roll and i could not get the head all the way in. I usually can get half of my dick in at least when hard normally. I was pretty surprised.

Anyways, I think I will keep with a mixed routine but with an emphasis on faster strokes (with medium pressure so as not to break my dick).

What do you guys think about jelqing speed? I remember seeing a video from I think it was the forsize site which shows a guy palms up fast jelqing it and I remember thinking - that can’t be right as so many sites stress a hard 3 second every jelq counts approach. But I have noticed the few sites that recommend a much faster hand after hand get up to a good speed jelqing approach.

Like I’ve said, I’ve never been in favor of this faster jelq approach partly because it seems easier and it seems that it couldnt possibly give you the same results and because it does get me very hard, especially palms up. But not being able to get my dick in the toilet paper roll after 15 minutes of that really impressed me.

Also, I woke up with a hardon this morning that was so freaking big that I had to measure it and I’ve definitely gained 3/4 of an inch in length and a half inch in girth - 1/4 inch of the girth coming in the last day (lol) - since starting three months ago.

So my take is that pe definitely works. Its just a matter of finding a way that works for you - but I do suspect some ways are better than others.

Anybody use a faster jelq technique consistenly? What has been your experience with it?

I know this thread is 12 years old already but this fast-jelq-stroke approach sounds interesting, any thoughts? is it better than the regular 3 secs stroke?

Some guy (can’t remember who, I read it today though, thread was quite old) claimed to have gotten 2” from “fast tugging of [his] flaccid penis” and doing that like 200 times a session. A LOT of people advise against it, understandably.

IMO, fast jelqs could work if given enough time, there’s nothing to say that they won’t. The comparison from them to long strokes, however, I don’t know the answer to.

These things are so absurd it stretches the imagination. What would pure commonsense tell you…?…Well, if you’re a newbie probably nothing. Its blood, its the penis, so what would you do to make a water balloon more expandable…? Would you stroke it like a trombone for a few hundred curls…? The penis, the vessel needs to expand, or to be less resistant to erectile circulatory system. So, you have a pump and you have your balloon; now, the pump cannot be improved, it is what it is. You must work with the pipes and the elasticity of the penis; so if the pipes are bigger and the elasticity (resistance to expansion) improved then a bigger erection will be the result.

In order to expand your pipes and breakdown tissue for greater expansion (all contribute to increased volume of the penis), you must rigorously work the tissue. So, think about the balloon since the same principles apply, a hose will fill the balloon to bursting proportions over a martini straw. Its a slow process to take a straw to a hose but you will see it when it arrives because a fire hose is not an eye dropper.

So what does jelqing actually do? It works for length right? So is it stretching the penis to a longer length or is it forcing blood forward and causing “new growth” at the glans end? I think I can see the benefit (theoretically) of both fast and slow jelqs.

You have unrealized capacity in your penis and your erectile circuitry/pump is weak, so this unrealized capacity is never realized. Its as if the electric antenna on your car had a rusted segment and could not extend to its full range. So, if the motor on your antenna did not have the horsepower to overcome the rusted segment, what would you do…? You would help it along by pulling on it and lubricating the effected segment, it is the same principle with the penis.

Jelqing works for length and girth since it improves the efficiency of the erectile pump. However, there are more effective ways at discovering your unrealized length; like hanging. Its not “new growth” in the anatomical sense; it is weakening the restrictive forces that prevent you from realizing your full capacity. This is why we cannot grow to the floor; if you were realizing new growth, then you would (theoretically) be like a weed and just grow to the sun. You’re not stretching to a longer length, the length is there it is just unrealized.

Genetics predetermines a few things like our flaccid size and angles of attachment; appendages come in varying sizes, hand size, foot size, nose size, penis size, these are all genetically predetermined (for the sake of this discussion.) The penis is pink and smooth and weak, so jelqing helps to improve the infrastructure. You need bigger pipes since bigger pipes will effect the blood flow rate which will enlarge the chambers of the penis. Jelqing merely helps the penis to accept more blood and engorge and lengthen to improve the efficiency of your erectile pump, thereby utilizing your unrealized capacity so you are just doing maintenance on the antenna.

Yokamotive, if I had a 10/10 EQ at about 7” BPEL and have it now, at about 7,75”, when my penis were weak?
We don’t grow like plants, because we aren’t plants. Its have meristemic tissue which divide the whole life of every plant. Human body is quite (only a little bit…) less simplistic in function.
And what about increased flaccid size? I’ve got bigger flaccid hang and my EQ hasn’t changed much since I’ve started PE.
And finally, where the hell are those pipes? I don’t want to have any pipes in my ice cream machine.

As for question what jelqs do: depends of type (wet/dry) and erection percentage. Dry is mostly for girth and wet rather for length (but not only); higher % of erect means better work for girth. The difference betwwen type and results can be in the motion of each jelqs: in wet it’s more like stretching (but you still forcing blood towards glans) and in dry it’s rather “choking” the little-big friend.

As for length of strokes, at about 18 I read that each jelq should have one second and that’s method works best for length. I didn’t noticed any real difference bteween slow and fast strokes then.

In my explanation regarding the erectile system and unrealized capacity, EQ has nothing to do with this discussion. EQ is a matter of hardness, and unrealized capacity is a matter of efficiency of the erectile system, or the pump. The only jelqing I do would fit your ‘choking’ description. In my opinion, the goal is always to facilitate engorgement and the only way to maximize engorgement is to ‘choke the chicken.’ Everything you have mentioned with regard to ‘wet/dry, duration of stroke, slow vs fast, are all superfluous, it means nothing and only degrades the proper techniques. The ‘pipes’ just refer to the blood carrying tissue and the need to expand the circulatory physiology, and to work at making the penis accept more blood to induce length and girth.

What Tidio is getting at (and I hope I’m not wrong, if so I apologise) is that your analogy is a bit too black and white and doesn’t take into account things like the tunica, ligaments, hyperplasia and hypertrophy within the CC, and the role of collagen as a limiting factor (to name one), to quote ModestoMan; “Collagen has a higher tensile strength than steel.”
