I’ve been trying something out and I wanted to see if anyone has any thoughts on the issue.

I read here about all day wrapping using various media, and have, for a few months now, been wrapping mini-shintaro in a piece of 5mm thick neoprene. I wrap and then hold it in place with a couple of pieces of Velcro One Wrap to a tension that still allows me to pee.

The thing is with neoprene this thick, I can stretch my dick out, wrap the velcro around, and my dick will stay at that stretched length due to the relative rigidity of the neoprene. I don’t stretch it out extra hard but it’s probably at 3/4 full FSL. It’s not like wearing an ADS but there is still a stretch effect.

My question is simple…am I really achieving anything by doing this? I haven’t noticed any changes but some things take time.

Appreciate any thoughts on this.

Basically you’re eliminating the “turtling” by leaving a wrap on but there isn’t any real stretch on the ligs right?

Not usually after a routine GM

It sort of has a stretching effect although not like hanging or manual stretching …probably a bit more subtle than those methods. It sort of begs the question as to whether it’s more efficacious doing a relatively quick, powerful “burst” such as manual stretches, or doing a less stressful method (such as the one I mentioned) over a much, much longer period.

Speaking from personal experience, shin, I got my best EL gain results combining hanging and a traction wrap. The traction wrap “helps the tissues heal in the elongated state”, or something to that effect.
You may experience some FL gains, but at ¾ FSL you’re probably not going to see much gain in the EL department.

It is only a theory of “healing in an elongated state” for gains..
I’ve yet to try.

That’s interesting. It’s actually flaccid gains I’d like. If you extrapolate what’s said many times in this forum about “repair & heal”, what you say (and what I think) seems logical. I also do clamping and hanging and hope this improves the EL side of things. Nice theory…hope it all works!

Now if I just found a way to ADS that
a) doesn’t give me a prolonged erection (bad bloodflow, ADS device slips off)
b) doesn’t need to hurt my dick (badly usually) in order to get at least a decent grip for a pull

I’d be into ADS as well..
As things are at the moment: No way (unluckily).

YS I use my Wenchette as a sort of ADS when I’m alone. It doesn’t seem to slip off. The only thing that baffles me is how do people wear these things during the day. Unless your wearing the “drug dealer 5 sizes too big pants”, it sticks out like a pimple on a pumpkin. Maybe the commercial ones are less revealing (?).

Yes an ADS of any sort is bound to be seen except in loose pants. Even then I catch a look now and then from a crotch watcher, that is so fun. They roll their eyes or stare. :rolling:

The real ticket here is understanding that what you do after your heavy hanging sessions is what makes or breaks your gains. I doubt that a 3/4 stretched wrap will do anything. What gives most guys their consistent gains is using an ADS after their heavy hanging, for as long as possible.

Thanks for that Monty. Yes, I’m going to start using the ADS after hanging. The question now is, when using my wenchette as an ADS, it’s a bit ‘hit and miss’ as far as the tension is concerned. I want to stretch hard and keep it there but then I’m thinking that doing it at that tension for hours may not be medically sound. Do I instead, keep a “strongish”, comfortable tension without going overboard?

Why not traction wrap as an ADS, shin?

I always used a 1” stretchy gauze ankle wrap bandage as an ADS: never had a problem and was able to get stretched pretty close to EL with it. The key is to keep it tied loose enough so that you can rip it off in a second or two in the WC if necessary. The neoprene sounds great, but you’re going to be frying your loins come November.
