Is LESS more, or is MORE more?

I’m finally getting great EQ from the less is more routine, i wonder how long you should go with a routine without increasing the amount of jelq? It would be great if anyone had some good advice to share.

I had this intense routine that was taking me upwards of an hour, where I was stretching to the clock, kegeling, slow tempo jelqing, v-jelqing, all with a rubber chicken under my arms (kidding. Although.), and all it did was made my morning wood go away, and had some negative/neutral PIs.

Now, I warm up with a rice sock, go straight into my jelqing sets, not screaming fast, but good even tempo, finish with no more than 20 min of edging.. And definitely seeing good results and feeling amazing.

Yeah, gonna go with “less is more”

6/15/13 - 6.5" NBEL, 6.9" BPEL, 5" MSEG (modified 12/12/13 - I've never measured 6.75" BPEL, so not sure why I listed that)

12/12/13 - 6.75" NBEL, 7.2 BPEL, 5" MSEG

Goal - 7" NBEL, 7.5" BPEL, 5.5" MSEG

What is the lowest amount of jelqs per session that someone had gains?

It’s not the number of how many jelqs you do that counts. It’s the cuality of doin good jelqs that counts. So in that point less is better than more!

Starting size: 7.48" X 5.51" Currently: 10.1" X 6.4"

Heat is the key!

Less than 10 wet jelqs on a work set. This after a few warm up sets of progressively more and more intense wet jelqs.

Bpel: 8", Bpeg: 6", Mbeg: 5.75", Meg: 5.5", Aheg: 5.25", Heg: 4.5" - 11/18/11

Bpel: 8", Bpeg: 6", Mbeg: 5.875", Meg: 5.63", Aheg: 5.38", Heg: 4.75" - 5/18/12

Bpel:+1/4", Bpeg:6", Mbeg: 5.875", Meg:+1/16", Aheg: +1/16", Heg: +1/16" - 6/18/12

Following standard routine I’ve always had a bad EQ. Sometimes I fucked girla with no more thant 60% of my erection.

Yeah for them gone really good, but just for my blessed skill.

So, after episode like this I decided to stop all of my workout and focusing on EQ. I started again with no more than 150 wet jelqs and..woaah! Sounds good!

With the right pressure my dick burst like hell and getting on the edge of explosion. But my mad mind said to me that just 150 jelqs are few.
So I came back to 300 but..again bad!

Now just 20 minutes (like someone else said, numbers Re uselesa) of jelqs with right erection percentage, right pressure and right quality.

Definitively better!

Starting size: 17.5cm BPEL - 14cm MSEG

Today: 18.5cm BPEL - 14cm MSEG / Goal: 21cm BPEL - 15cm MSEG/BEG/HEAD

Maphia's PE History

I suppose it depends on your routine and your PI results will determine whether less or more is good.

PE'ing since 11/1/13. It's never too late to begin!

Extending and Stretching

Ah, you’ve asked the question that I’ve been asking. I come from a bodybuilding background. I was a hard gainer. I worked out twice a day and each body part twice a week. Then one day I had an epiphany. Was I working out too much? Other people are doing it. I stopped what I was doing and changed my routine that emphasized train, feed, and REST. I grew and got stronger. Now, I know that the muscle down south isn’t the same as the muscles in my arm. But I’m pro safety. I worry that if I work out too much I’ll injure myself. I’ve been doing manual stretches and jelqing for a total of 28 minutes 2 days on and 1 day off. I change my routine every week to emphasize different goals. After 8 weeks or so… I’ve gained 1/2” yeah… what’s 1/2”? Well for me… I’m ecstatic. I might be willing to put in more time if I thought it was worth it but because I’m so cautious… it’ doesn’t look like I’m going to do it.

So, I’ve seen some people put out data, standard deviation, averages, and so on and so forth. But averages are only part of the puzzle. If the average person grows .68” that might seem good, unless that’s over an average of 5 years. So, I’d really like someone to do the analysis. Admittedly, that’s a lot of work.

BPEL Start: 5 15/16". BPEL Current: 7 1/4". Short Term BPEL Goal: 7 1/2". Long Term BPEL 8"

BEELIT Start: 6", BPELIT Current: 6.1/4"

EG Start: 5". EG Current: 5 1/8". Short Term EG Goal: 5.25". Long Term EG: 6

I’m stuck if less is more. I am having a hard time even taking rest days. I urgently want the gain to be quicker lol. I have gained a quick 1/2 inch. I’m not totally sure it was a poor starting measurement or better EQ, but I’ll take it.

I want to chime in here. I agree with sparkyx here, anytime you approach a subject this broad as an absolute you will always be wrong. And one caveat to add: for every person, for every method, indeed for every variable, there is probably an optimum range on the less or more continuum. So even stating that absolutely less is more or more is more for you personally is probably wrong as well. You must discover how your individual physiology responds to each variable of a particular method. Another, less daunting, way to put this is: you need to find what works for you and stick to it. There might be some method or combination of methods out there that might provide faster results, but if you have found something that works, and you are satisfied with your progress, stick with it! You will get to where you are going eventually.

I don’t know that improved EQ will always indicate you are in your “sweet spot,” however. You could do only kegels and get improved EQ, but have no real growth at all. Maybe even some of the methods that cause a loss in EQ normally, such as extreme pumping, might produce fast gains for some (although I personally wouldn’t advocate trading hardwood for gains).

I do think PI’s are a good indicator of overwork as they begin turning negative, and they can help someone figure out how often they need to take rest days when doing specific exercises at specific intensities.

My point is the method that makes you grow makes you grow, find it. And it would be nice if you kept your cock happy and healthy while you were at it. ;)

I find it interesting that the less is more ideology of PE is kind of at odds with the scientifically based notion that we should plastically deform our penises in order to gain, we should push our dicks slightly past our elastic range in order to deform cells and cause them to change. So is this not the case with less is more PEers? I believe I am in the less is more camp, after almost a year of trying different routines and exercises. Most recently I started using an extender and slowly pushing my member past its usual BPSFL with the use of heat. It worked for a while, I had an amazing flaccid and looked slightly bigger when erect. But I then started to get negative PIs and turtling and feel like I have now gone the opposite way (I’m consequently on a decon). This is what I mean with the notions of less is more and plastic deformation being at odds with eachother. How can I plastically deform my penis with a ‘light’ 10 minute stretch and 30 jelqs? Or would there be some other physiological principle at work here other than plastic deformation causing me to gain? Because there are PEers who HAVE gained through this kind of routine, or so we are lead to believe.

Goal 7 NBP X 5.5 MEG - the perfect penis size in my opinion.

I believe a slightly different mechanism is at work with the type of routine you are doing Longjohn. Your routine challenges the elasticity of the tissues, rather than the plasticity. If you are regularly encouraging the production of the elastic components of collagen, then logically your penis would eventually have too much elasticity and insufficient rigidity to perform its function. I believe once you reach or exceed this maximum level of elasticity, the tissue converts to a more stable form of collagen. Collagen is extraordinarily adaptive; in its various forms it constitutes a large amount of your bodies tissues.

Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. And the ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth.

If you’re right it would suggest you have to reach a point of negative PIs at least for a while, as you put it “insufficient rigidity” would mean poor EQ ?

It might not get that far as the body usually starts to adapt before it ‘hits trouble’, but you would probably notice that your usual erection during sex or masturbation only seemed to get really hard (and a little bigger) when close to orgasm. For young guys, they may still be very hard for most of the time they have an erection but just notice a further increase in size and a feeling like their penis is about to explode just before they cum :)
