I’d wager my fat pad is the same - but what do you mean by young? I’m 38. It’s probably around what it was when I was 20. I’ve done a decent job of keeping my body weight pretty steady over the years, though.

Shit food choices and fad diets make things worse.

You cant target a specific area for fat loss. The abdomen, lower back, glutes, obliques, and the fat pad area are the last places you will lose fat.

With all the wackiness going on with my endocrine system compounded by post surgical system shock I put on some pudg for the first time in my life. 1/2 a year out and I have trimmed back to my “normal”. I prefer to be about 10 pounds over an 8 pack just in case my life gets crazy and I need to go balls to the wall for a few days without food or sleep. I am 50 years old and currently have a 1/2” fat pad.

Diet.

I exercised the same way if not less.

I found I lost my appetite when my wife and I began fighting and seperated.

We have reconciled but the tension is still there, so my anxiety is effecting my eating.

I have lost 30 pounds since christmas.

Ive lost 22lbs since January, I am exercising and dieting. I have not noticed the fat pad reduction at all.

I feel for you a-unit, I sent you a pm.

My fatpad has diminished to the point where I bumped a chair at work and I thought I got stabbed.

I’m still sore. It feels as if the chair edge poked something inside.
