Hit refresh a couple of times when viewing my profile KOG, see if that works.

Asterisk means you're invisible. Nobody else will see your name or your asterisk. Invisible users are always listed as offline.

I could see Thunder sitting at his computer with a big red button that says “Screw with KOG’s head!” You should feel flattered that you are his guinea pig. :D

Actually, I now think it was KOG screwing with me. Making me think that something was screwed up in my usercp.
