Injury or just keep pushing

Injury or just keep pushing

Hi everyone,
This is my first post but I have been doing PE for 6 months now and have stuck to a very strict schedule with no days being missed and using a weekdays on, weekends off schedule.

However a week ago on the left side of the shaft existing under my circumcision line for about an inch is this kind of weird thing happening.
I have had swelling and comfortably sore brusing etc. for the past 6 months but this quickly appears after 5 jelqs and it makes it hard to jelq in that area with it becoming such a nuicance that it causes a kind of Stinging sensation when i pass over it and it is kind of feels tough down in that area.

Now I took a week off but even going slow with the slightest increase in presssure to actually get the blood moving small “slugs” ( i say that because they look like little slugs but dark red) appear on the upper left side of the shaft.
If I were to go so slow as to not aggrivate them the pressure is so pathetically weak that it’s useless).

Well that was 2 days ago and yesterday i took another break as this time as the excersise time arrived the swelling has not disappeared as it usally does—- it seems to have gotten worse.

But there is no sharp pain though only a sandpaper type brazen stinging when i pass over it with the jelq and mild shakiness in my body afterward for a few hours.

Do you think it’s wise to rest it for a long period or somthing else?
And what about when I return after a rest?

Sorry for the long post but i just wanted to say everthing off the bat.

Cheers.

my routine

I just remembered, this my routine for anyone that is interested.

5min hot wrap
5x5min stretch (mainly straight out)
30x slapping up and down to encourage circulation
25min jelq
5 min hot wrap

I also slap it a bit when i feel that it needs some circulation.

Cheers.

In my oppinion you should take an extended rest and let it heal completely…….then start back with light intesity and work back in slowly.

Don’t worry about the break….I took over a year off from PE and lost none of my gains…….now I’m back and gaining again.

Hi cascade,

You are due for a break. Take at least a few weeks off. I’m not sure what the “slugs” are, but rest is the answer. I know it is hard to stop PEing, but time off is likely to help you gain. Don’t be afraid to rest. Do some kegels and spend your scheduled PE time reading the past posts on this forum.

Start out easy when you resume. If the problem returns take more time off. Once all is well, you might try some JAI stretches or Blasters, and eventually ease into some squeezes.

A lengthy break followed by a shake up in routine can produce excellent gains.

I concur with the above. However, when you return after a rest do consider where you’ve been and where it got you. Specifically, what led up to your injury and the elimination of what might be the root cause. I’ll speculate from your description that despite what you may regard as a reasonable jelq force is actually way to much. Those slugs may be capillaries or some other vascular tissue and you could be stretching the fuck out of them to the point of irritation. If whatever it is went from nothing to slug, what’s next? POP!!!..? Not a pleasant thought at all.

I realize that the injury thing and recovery is often evaluted by “getting back” to one’s original level of activity, but sometimes it’s good to question that original level. Don’t think “overcome”…instead, think of refining, revising, and learning. Perhaps mellow-out a bit in time, frequency, or force. Perhaps even a change in techique. Do analyze what you’ve done closely to ascertain the cause. You want to return to PEing, not to another injury of the same nature. Good luck and healing to you. groa

Thanks for the advice everyone :)

I would agree that the “slugs” as I described before are just really pissed off capillaries that have taken the full brunt of my ever-strengthening hands.
The main reason behind this is that while the exercises have been enabling my forearms and wrists to become stronger it got to the stage where it was a weights session for my arms!

I will take a Michael Jordan approach to this (coincidentally a big fan) :)
Not that Michael does PE but rather comparative to his basketball career.
Like his basketball career I started off slow and even failed at first attempt.
But then I had a pretty good run with my 6 months and got success.

I started with a rough measurement of 5 and 7/8ths of an inch ENBP in length but didn’t measure the girth because I didn’t think that it was important LOL :)
That’s typical teenage fixation on length for you—- it’s how close it is to the ground and not how much it pleases a girl. :)

My measurements now are 6 1/2 ENBP or 7 1/2 EBP with girth in the middle shaft of 5 1/2 (pretty small to me). :(

But back to the MJ thing and now and now I feel that this is the point of the first but maybe more so the second retirement where I need to stop and look at what I have gained and then prep for the comeback!
But like his second retirement I may never reach the peaks of my other run and will have to settle a much slower attack toward further success or more applicably more gains.

It sure is right that it’s hard to tear yourself away from PE because that first day I missed due to injury a week ago the whole night I felt shithouse and was totally disorientated because of the 6 month long run.
It’s weird how at first I had to force myself to do the PE’ing but now I have to be tied down to my bed (insert woman here—-just kidding) :) to stop me from PE’ing.
That’s human habit for you.

Well thanks for listening to my ramblings.

Cheers and MerryXmas and Happy New Year from downunder. —- That’s Australia I’m referring to, not my pubic region :)

Some things I forgot--again! :)

I also listen to aggressive alternative music while I do the stretches which is probably the reason that I got some good gains in length.
Also on that point I’ll clarify that I am happy with the length but not so on the girth if anyone misunderstood that.

Also of note that I started PE from what I could find around the net then collated it and made a plan and stuck to it by hell or high water when I was 17 1/2 years old and two weeks before I turned 18 found this site and waited till my birthday to join (no use lying about my birthday for only 2 weeks).

I say this because it could have affected my gain records as I may have and may still be naturally growing.

Also my apologies for my tendancy to use lots of smiley’s :(

Cheers.

Take a month off, minimum. It won’t hurt a thing, and might get you past these problems.

I had a similar problem, but it did not get as bad as what you describe.

I stopped x-r-sizing for about two weeks and everything is fine now.

Don’t fear downtime.

be back soon

On the road again... (PE road)

Well guys, I’m back in the PE saddle and have a couple of questions.

Firstly, I started some Blasters on the first day back and added jelquing on the second.
I am OK with the Blasters even though I don’t feel much of a stretch even when going ‘full out’.
It’s the jelqing that concerns me,
When I jelq I am king of getting a dull pain (kind of like stretching muscles in other parts of the body) in my jelq and at the start of each jelq it is low but as I get closer to the head it gets worse.
It’s nothing sharp and I can ignore it but I am wondering if it is normal when starting back up again.

On the plus side I am not getting the “slugs” that I used to and the skin is not tender (and painful) to touch like it was just before I took my break. :)

Also I am taking quicker strokes (1 sec) as opposed to my old way of doing 2 sec storkes. (mainly because the dull pain is more when I take longer strokes)

Is this dull stretch like pain just really a stretch or do I need more rest?

Also I you look over to the progress reports section in my progress report you will see that I have lost some gains :(
It is here: Cascade’s Progress Report "Hey, That’s Me!"

If anyone has any insight into this I would appreciate any feedback. :)

Also, I am trying horses and uli’s and some light bends (listening to my limits) to see what the’re like. —- Is that cool?

No, it isn’t normal. Pain is bad.

Great. Your dick is recovering.

Jelqing shouldn’t cause any pain. You need more rest.

>Is this dull stretch like pain just really a stretch or do I need more rest?

Rest.

If I’m reading your report correctly, you “lost” size between January 12 and January 23 of this year, which isn’t anything in PE Time. Most likely the discrepancy is either measurement error or variance in the fullness of your erection. Also, you indicate you took your most recent measurements using paper. How do you bone press paper?

You need to develop a consistent measuring technique. However you choose to do it, measure often for awhile to learn how much variation is typical for you. Definitely start tracking BPFSL and BPEL using a ruler, stick, dowel, or something else rigid that you can press into your public bone as hard as you can. Measure in the same place every time. I align the left side of the ruler with the centerline of my dick.

My mistake!...

Thanks for pointing out that discrepancy with my report

Well here is a carbon copy of what I wrote over in my progress report that I think will clear up the issue toward my measuring;

Actually this is just for the NBPEL and the girth (can’t bend rulers ;) ).
As the BPEL is done with a plastic ruler (used to be a steel ruler —- OUCH! :( ).
And although I am undermeasuring my dick because of the bit of ruler that is before the measuring starts and though I should cut it off I think i’ll leave it like this to make sure I gain more.

I am thinking, If I stop the jelquing and just continue with the DLD Blasters will I still be recovering from the pain I experience during jelquing?
I do not feel any pain when doing the DLD Blasters.

Tried today with a deoderant can and coke can doing the blasters.
And I got a max stretch with no pain (except when trying to use rubber dishwashing gloves for grip :( ).

I will not try to jelq againg ‘till I get more rest but as to the Blasters I am really confused as to whether to continue as they don’t hurt.
