Infrared heat lamps, any suggestions?

I use an industrial heat gun when hanging and use common sense regarding proximity and time in applying heat.

It works perfectly and I’ve never burned myself at all.

Began December 2009 at 5 7/8" length and 5" girth.

As of December 5th 2012 7 3/8" BPEL and 6 1/8" base girth.

Going for the magic 8"x6"

I use a qfiber infrared wrist wrap when hanging.

In addition, I use the qfiber body wrap around the cylinder during my pumping sessions.

I am astounded that the more compact products designed for IR heat therapy only seem to be available in Europe. I could pass something like that off as something I wanted to use for aches and pains in general. I don’t think I’m going to get away with a red bulb attached to a light holder clamped to my desk, and I sure as hell am not going to pay for the shipping from Europe, nor for the huge floor standing lamps. I’ll have to find something else for stealth heat I guess. Running the microwave or water kettle at weird hours is kinda hard to explain.

This was so much simpler when I had a house to myself :)

Hi, I just bought an IR heat lamp, 150W and I’m curious to know how long to use it for. I’m doing 3 x 20 minute sets of hanging with 10 minute break in between. I’m using it to warm up but should I be using it while hanging to?

Thanks

Philips is awesome, you probably want the 150W though and not the 100W like i got. But i still love it!

You can use it while hanging, but be very careful not to cook your penis - it is not a very heat sensitive organ. The back of your hand is much more sensitive, so if you put the back of your hand (not the palm) alongside your penis pointing toward the lamp, and the heat is comfortable on your hand, it should be OK. However, it is not strictly necessary to keep the heat on all the time, and it is often easier just to re-warm between sets, which is quite adequate.
How long you should warm up for depends how close you are to the lamp. If you are too close, you will heat the outside of your penis up quickly, but not the inside, as it will get too hot to stay in front of the lamp for long enough. Again use the back of your hand to help judge it. I like to heat the top side, then the left, then the right sides, and rotate between each until my penis feels evenly heated through. Around 5 minutes if the distance is about right.

Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. And the ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth.

Take a hot shower and then do your PE immediately afterward.

People PEed and made gains long before infrared heating.

Some of this stuff is just tits on a boar. I think a good, deep heating is beneficial, but lights don’t compare to a soak in a very hot bathtub or even a decent hot shower.

Just my opinion.

I actually found a pretty good IR combo that works great for me when I have the privacy to use it, I’ll post it here when I have time to find a link.

But you’re right about the soaking. Many mornings I am simply filling a small cup with hot tap/shower water (and gradually replacing it with hotter water as my dick warms up), and holding it against myself while in the shower, with a free hand or using the wall when I need both hands for washing myself in the shower. This adds almost nothing to my time in the shower (time is of the essence to me) and the warm up is as effective as anything I have tried.

Tractor supply has 250w infrared bulbs(2pack) and ceramic reflecting clamp lamps for heating chicks. They each cost $8 in my area. If that’s what you’re looking for.

Hi guys, I’m planning to PE next month.

I am planning to buy InfraPhil from Philips which is basically a 150W lamp that uses infrared bulb.
But I am still in doubt about buying this product because I am not sure if it can cause cancer/ damage to penis.

Does someone also use InfraPhil? If so, how long have you been using it?

Thanks in advance!

I kept forgetting to post what I eventually bought:

http://m.petco.com/product/102252/Z…escription_link

It is rated up to 150w, will clamp to your desk, has the protective outer cage, and has the gooseneck. Pair it with a 150w bulb, and you have a versatile IR setup for about $40.

I have been using a Phillips InfraPhil for years for PE and also in my clinic. It is the unit I most often recommend - I consider it to be the standard for PE IR lamps. 150W is the ideal output. I have read many articles on the safety of IR, and if I did not consider it totally safe, I would not continue to use it.

I use a 125W with a metal socket and jar gripper type clamp. Cost me 4 dollars at a tractor supply and another 3 dollars for the 125W bulb. 7 dollars total. Can clamp it on anything. Usually clamp it on the counter in the bathroom and stretch/jelq after getting out of the shower in front of it.
