I think we generally bone press harder than the average non-PE’r, and certainly harder than a researcher measuring someone else. Since most presumably bone-pressed studies find averages of 6” or a little more, I’d guess somewhere around 6.375” if measured as we do.

Well to calculate this we need to know the racial make up of the world in percentages. 6.5 billion total lets say, for 2005 estimates from this site. http://en.wikip … orld_population This is rough estimate assuming homogenous makeup of regions. Do your own breakdown of specific regions if you want :) I assume they are bunching arab,indian, into asian continent but then again aren’t they using that same classification for asian penis average? So there you go the asian average for sure is going to bring down the average considerably, IF you can trust any of the averages surveyed.

I agree with hobby. PEers are great at getting the most out of thier BP measurements.

The best survey, Durex’s, came up with 5.9 inches average. I am SURE they did not bone-press. PEers as a rule probably press pretty darned hard to get their best measurement. I would say 6.5” would be average.

How is it that you are sure of this? I heard a urologist discussing this issue say that the “correct” way to measure, as understood by those in the medical community (presumably, the urological community), is bone pressed. He specifically referred to the variation in the size of the fat pad in men, which can distort measurements that are not bone pressed.

Assuming that Durex used medical doctors or medical researchers to oversee the study, the presumption must be that they measured bone pressed.

Granted, Durex might not think that the bit of the penis covered by the fat pad is of any relevance to the manufacturing and sale of condoms. But what exactly did they set out to determine: the average penis length or the length they should use for their condoms? I’m assuming the former, for they design their condoms fit a longer than average penis.
