Importance of rest days

I mean that I don’t consider this : “…a little over a month due to a scar on my foreskin that developed through too much lymph fluid and hanging” a normal thing. I never had such kind of things.

When one hasn’t already gained 1/2 “, that way of accepting easily risks for supposed faster results is a predisposition to no gains AND injuries - the worst of both sides.

This is my personal opinion.

We don’t want to give an hard-time to diesel, but without proper grammar use, posts become obscure.

About the subject, I agree - what do you think of what has been said since now?

I am on a month break right now and it’s my first ever, I don’t think I see any benefits from it other than rest. My penis is much fuller when I am jelqing.

The topic here is more on rest-days then deconditioning breaks. Of course they are in some way related, but rest days are done to avoid injuries and let the penis recover from hard-work, the decons are done to make the penis in some way go back to his original pliability - or near.

I think I am in Dick Builder’s camp as far as PE theory goes also.

Personally I believe a reason Bib and others might have left this site is because some seem to turn PE into a sort of cult. Where you must follow and believe what they (and others) say and/or believe without wavering faith, yet talk down to others for simply expressing their own personal thoughts, theories or experience (even if that experience is limited) because it differs from their own train of thought. So it’s either drink the Kool-Aid or be ousted. I myself have been introduced to this unfortunate reality in the world of PE (it’s not just this site).

In reference to rest days…my current routine is focused on breaking down the tunica first via erect bends (with kegels) and jelqs (held stretched at the end). I edge in between sets …And all is done with a 1” fixed cock ring.

After fatigue kicks in I then begin hanging. I only do one day then take three off (due to high intensity). The first day I do nothing. The second and third day I wear the fixed cock ring all day and try to do btc stretches when sleeping. I also mentally try to get an erection from thoughts alone as frequently as possible.

Now that’s the necessary background is set:
On that second day of rest I sometimes edge and/or jelq for a short while…during this time I notice my erections possess a stretchy condition. I have checked this with a cut paper towel roll to make sure it was indeed stretching more and it is indeed the case.

On a normal basis I am 5.5” nbpel…but when jelqing after fatigue sets in or on that second day of rest it stretches (soft erection) between 6” to 6.25” nbpel. I have no theories as to why this is but hope someone else has or has theories.

What an odd thing to say about Thundersplace, because I’ve never been on any website (on any subject) where guys are as honest and helpful as this site.

So who are the cult leaders at thunders, and who’s being persecuted for “personal thoughts?”

I think it’s important, at least for me it is. I’ve felt slight pain from overdoing it and I’m taking a break now but resting doesn’t mean you have to stop. I just don’t jelq on those days but I still apply heat twice a day for about 15 minutes. I think its what you do on your off days. I still do kegels, still apply heat and I’m looking into using oil to help heal better.

I had to log in just to give my 2 cents.

I agree with what was stated earlier about rest days probably depends on what you’re doing.

Stretching and hanging - no rest days needed.

Jelqing and clamping - definately need rest days.

That’s just my opinion based on limited medical knowledge and a bunch of reading.

I believe rest days are beneficial, even for stretching and hanging. If not for healing and growth then at least to improve EQ.


Start: BPEL 6.0, MEG 4.5"

Now: BPEL 7.0", MEG 5.0"

I recently switched to 1 day on 2 days off. Seems to be what my body is telling me to do according to the physiological indicators .

I feel a lot better about things this way. However, In terms of long term gains, I’m not sure yet.

Flaccid seems to be getting subtlety larger than before even after this fairly recent schedule change.
