I know this is going to sound crazy but please stick with me. I am an Amateur Bodybuilder and workout rather intensely. My Trainer has me take icebaths twice a week to help my legs recover from my hard squat workouts. When I’m in there and for about an hour after I get out and dry off I have major shrinkage. But after that hour period I hang a little bit fuller flaccid than I do normally. I have began to wonder if the icebath helps my cock recover from a hard workout like it does my legs. I will keep note of this and maybe even measure when my flaccid returns to normal. But I’m interested to see what all the members think about this. I know heat is used to warm up wonder If the coldness helps with recovery?

I’ve never heard of that! Sounds brutal to me but then again my gains have been shit compared to most so I would be willing to give it a try. Interesting to hear what Luvdadus says about it.

Well, heat is what we call a vasodialtor, and cold is a vasoconstrictor.

In Physical Therapy we will use contrast baths to help with swelling after a few days. At first it is cold only. We want to constrict. But, I don’t know how that would pertain to what you are doing as far as PE goes. I agree, lets see what luvdadus and avocet8 say.

A first this may sound silly, but think about it…

When you hurt yourself, whether it be a strain, sprain or a pulled muscle, the first thing that any sports doc will tell you is to ice the injury. This will speed up the healing process and will reduce the swelling -Hey wait a minute, don’t we look forward to that swelled up, fat look after a PE session?

I’ll agree that the penis is not a muscle, but I think this ice theory may be worth looking into.

Now all we need is a very brave PE’er that is willing to take ice baths or dunk his dick into a frozen margarita after his PE sessions —Brrrrrrrrrrr!

Today I took another icebath and I jelqed 2 hrs later. I felt fuller while doing my jelqs. I just think the coldness helps with the healing process so you can get back to business sooner. The Icebaths will continue and I will keep you all informed.

You said you would keep us informed theman. How is it going so far with the icebaths and your PE?

I rub an ice cube along my shaft after my PE sessions. I´ll report back in a few weeks.

Its amazing how much my penis shriks up when exposed to the cold. I’ve seen it down to almost 3 inches flaccid, its a horrible feeling.

Yes and it’s even worse when your nut sack shricks at the same time, to the point of being so tight that it clings around your small cold shrivvled cock and makes it point outwards instead of being loose skin allowing the dick to hang. When it’s so tight that it makes the dick point, it makes your dick look far, far shorter. But lets not get side tracked here, we want to know if ice baths can recover the dick quicker thus making it able to grow quicker. I take a cold shower or bath after my weight training too, and it makes all the difference in recovery. Whether it works with PE is what we need to know.

theman, 1) do you only do icebaths after weight training or do you ice up your dick after PE too?

2) are you saying your weight training workouts are more intense because of ice or are you refering to your PE workouts aswel? Have you compared the intensities of PE workouts with both hot and cold wraps and seen more intensity in the PE workouts because of ice the day before, rather than heat?

3)What is the order of your PE workouts and when does the ice come in?

Sorry for the directness, but we need some clear statements from you about what you have been precisely doing and how it compares in effect to hot wraps, if we are to be sure of giving it a go. Thanks.

Well I take Icebaths on my off days. I believe that it helps increase the recovery process so the next time you work out you can go at it full paced.
