Thank you for passing by! Well, I guess the title of the thread says it all! After almost one year of PE I want to give kegels a try. What advices can you give me regarding this exercise, and what results did you get while doing it?

I’ve read a few things about it, and I know a lot of people say that they’ve got better erections, but I also read some posts about kegels ruining the sex performances…

What do you think about this?

Lets just cut through the chase and get you on erect kegels there the better kegel

1: get an erection

2: put a finger,thumb on the visible vein on the top of your penis.

3: Apply gentle pressure on that vein, It’s called the dorsal vein.

4: How to kegel. While you are holding the vein you kegel in blood. You use the muscle that stops the flow of urine. So for practice when you piss throughout the day stop the flow of urine. This is a BC kegel.

5: PC kegel pretty much tighten up your anus like your trying to stop a bowel movement, This is a PC kegel

6: Now for erect kegels you won’t to flex both the PC/BC muscles. This shouldn’t be that hard, Most guys can’t do one with out the other.

7: IT is better to do these erect kegels while lying down. Try to do 30 reps at firs over the course of several weeks build up to 100.

8: after you did your erect kegels stroke your penis in typical jack off fashion. A few minutes down the feel good line do more erect kegels.

You will notice a harder erection and more veins coming up.

Assuming you meant “they are” I have to ask: why? Why are they better and/or more effective?

Why? What’s the point of putting pressure on the vein? If you think a “weighted” erect kegel is better, I have to disagree and ask why you think so.

Are you making this up? I’ve never heard of a “PC kegel.” Why would there be a difference in outcomes?

Huh? Penile stimulation is not required.

Perhaps. The harder erections can come from “regular, un-erect” kegels. Why go to the trouble of getting hard?

Since I do not know that much about this subject, I find it great to read some different views and perspectives about it!

Kegels are typically done without an erection and can be performed anywhere.

You flex and hold the same muscle you use to stop a stream of urine.

The newbie routine recommends that you do 50 a day or so, but you can do more if you want. I used to do 100 every day on the train on my way to work. Some people like to do quick clench and release, others more slowly.

There are a variety of variations.

The Wally-Wally Up exercise is essentially an erect Kegel, whereby you use a wet towel or some reasonably light weight as resistance placed over the erection and flex - lifting the weight with your erection. They can be effective too, but there’s no evidence that they are any more effective than a consistent regimen of regular Kegels.

What matters is that they are done consistently. 50 a day, every day, will show results in a relatively short time; harder, fuller erections.

kingpole has developed a very elaborate and somewhat ornate variation of his own. While it is nice for him to share it with us, westla is right to challenge him, as kingpole seems to be presenting this as the proper way to Kegel. In truth, some of his ideas seem … extraneous.

It should be clear what he posted his own kingpole variation.

If it works for him, great. If you want to try it, great.

But a Kegel is a very simple exercise. You can do it while driving to work. You just flex and release. That’s it.

Sometimes, actually right at this moment, I think my BC or PC muscle is a little bit tensed, I can almost feel it while I’m not doing kegels at all. It doesn’t hurt, I just feels quite tensed. So I was wondering if this is a good sign? Or do I have to stop kegeling for a few days until that feeling is gone? I do have better erections, and more frequent erections (the ones that come ‘unwanted’). Though it is extremely hard to kegel when I’m about to come.. If I do it anyways, it’s like that’s the final touch that makes me come. Others say that when you kegel right before your orgasm, you can gain control of your orgasm. Well, that doesn’t work for me, yet. Oh and also, is it normal that I have a tensed feeling at my left kidney, perhaps from kegeling too intensively? And finally (I know.. Sorry), last night I was edging for over 40 minutes, and finally shot my load. I didn’t really wanted to come, but came anyway. My question is; if you don’t want to come, but come anyway (by accident f.e.), does that affect anything? Because after my orgasm, it was like my urine pipe/tube was infected. It just hurt and was a very bad feeling. I have had this feeling more than once though.. The best way I could describe it, is that it’s like stage 1 of a urine pipe/tube infection. That’s when you can hardly pee anymore, and have the feeling you have to pee a lot, but you just can’t.. And it hurts so much.

Guys I would like your advice on Kegels.

1. Is it safe to kegel everyday?

I mean we are working out a muscle and like most muscle, it needs some rest. I found out, 4-5 times a week work best for me.

2. How much Kegels are enough?

I alternate between a session of 50 quick Kegels, 20x30 sec Kegels, 5x1 min Kegels and 30 reverse Kegels and a session of 50 Kegels and 30 reverse Kegels.

Last month I went totally overboard with my P.C exercises and found out my penis was quite sore, especially on the sides. This affected my morning wood, I took some days off and it all went back to normal.
With my current routine, touch wood there are no worries.

3. Do Kegels affect girth?

I personally would say yes. I have measured my penis three days ago, I found out I gained some base girth. My mid shaft girth remains unchanged though.

4. What’s the point of doing erect Kegels compared to the less hassle free one (no erection ones)?

I would really appreciate your comments on this post.

There are a variety of ideas on this: flex hard and release quickly, flex hard and release slowly (say on a count of 5 or 10), slow flex (count of 5) hold for 5, release.

It’s up to you.

I’d do slow flex, hold, and release for 50 and then 50 quick ones. What matters is you do it consistently, every day.

Like abdominal muscles, this muscle can be trained daily.

The jury is out on kingpole’s brilliance. He does get consistently high marks for enthusiasm, though. :D

It sounds like you’re not completely relaxing between contractions, which can cause the muscle to tighten up and remain in a semi-contracted state.

Try this: next time you pee, do a kegel to stop the flow midstream. Then, when you start urinating again, push the flow of urine out as hard as you can. This is a reverse kegel.

Now try and incorporate these reverse kegels into your sets, but not with quite as much force. So, basically you are going just little bit beyond relaxing the contraction to doing a mild “push.” Does that make sense? If not let me know and I’ll try and explain it better.

This is a little bit more of an advanced topic, but I’ll give it a shot. The kind of kegel you do to either stop an orgasm or channel an orgasm inwardly (that is, orgasm without ejaculation) is more intense and involves all of the muscles of the pelvic floor, including the anal sphincters. Instead of just squeezing the BC muscle, you are doing an intense contraction of the BC the PC, and the anal sphincter muscles, with the focus being on the anus. This pulls the energy away from the penis and back into the body (if you can, try and imagine the pleasurable sensation moving up your spine.)

Oh, and when you do this, STOP stroking, or thrusting, or whatever you are doing, and just PULL that energy away from your cock and back into your body. At first (when you first start practicing this) it should almost be a full-body contraction. With time and practice you can learn to be more subtle about it and use your mind more. OK, I’m getting too vague now, realize, so I’ll just stop there. Try the above exercises though and see if they work for you.

I’m not qualified to answer that. If you have pain in your kidney, you should see a doctor!

Are you exaggerating when you say it “hurts so much”? If it REALLY hurts, then again, please go see a doctor!

That being said, it is not unusual to have a slight burning sensation and mild discomfort in the urethra if you have an ejaculation when you are trying to hold it back. This is because there is semen still in the urethra that has not been expelled. This should fade after a couple of hours at most, and after urinating.

Some people find the Wally Wally Up variety to be better for them. The idea is that they are greater intensity so you don’t have to do as many. I’m not sure that’s true. But it might be.

I went through a period where I’d do three or four sets of ten with a soft microwave-heating pad (un-heated) which weighed about a pound. In retrospect it was about the same as doing the non-erect Kegels. I did like it better though. :)

Did I mention that what matters is that you do them consistently. If one appeals to you more and you actually do it that’s the best exercise in my opinion: the one that you do consistently.

What erect Kegels are great for is during sex. If you have an over sized unit and it is already kegal conditioned you can get one hell of a reaction when you expand and bounce that bad boy around while it is balls deep. :D

Yeah, you are right. I completely forgot that last month I was stretching for longer period of time.

It was the stretching that cause the lack of morning wood not the P.C.
