I think I need a new routine...

I think I need a new routine...

I have been doing the same routine for about two years and change.

Basically one night I will to 20 minutes of modified btc stretches and rotary stretches. The next night I will do 20 minutes if jelqing, usually with olive oil. I do pe 4-6 nights a week.

I know I have gained because females comment on my size when they did not before, so anyone who says PE is bull shit is either ignorant or straight up lying. I just don’t really measure because I am kind of OCD and superstitious and just a fucking weirdo I guess.

Anyways, I feel like it’s time for a routine and I was wondering if you guys had any ideas. I am not looking to get lectured or argue with anyone, just hoping I could get some solid advice.

Starting size: 6.5 BPEL 5.1 MSEG

Goal size: 7.6 BPEL 5.6 MSEG

Do the beginner routine listed on this site to the t for at least 6 mths. And re-asses,

I’m going to post on this, because I agree, not that you might need a NEW routine, because if what is working is a GOOD thing, but because you may should CYCLE what your doing in intensity. I say this because so much works/does not work, and I’m so tired of seeing “Deacon breaks” I really am starting to believe that cycling intensity is the KEY TO GAINS. I could not tell you what to change, but what I have found, after being a hardcore PE’er, is that when forced to do less PE and then actually FORCED to take a day or two off., My dimensions have gained ALOT :) Which was the opposite of what I truly feared :)

I think following the newbie routine is a good idea. I think following a pumping schedule is a good idea. I think following a hanging routine is a good idea. These are all good ideas because they have been tried, tested and have worked for many men.. To me, it makes sense to copy a routine that has worked for many, instead of trying to create your own routine and hoping for the best. Pick something and be consistent with it. Persistent positive effort in any aspect of your life will yield great results.

I personally have tried many different forms of PE, and what ended working for me was hanging. Hope this helps.

I agree with hanging, It can be frustrating for some (especially for me) but it is worth it. When you hang X amount of pounds for 15 minutes, you know and understand what pulling on it feels like. The time weight thing can not be fooled or cheated, you know how much force is being applied. The tough part is figuring out how to get it all going without getting frustrated. If you have been doing your routine for two plus years, you should be more than ready to hang weights :)

You joined the forums after 2008. That is when we tightened our screening process to make it much harder for “normals” to to get in.

How much have you gained: A bit, a fair bit, or an inch and a bit? And how consistent have you been the last 1/2 year or so? If you have gained recently at all changing things up may not be the way to go. And if you are already 2 months into a an unofficial break you might as well go a bit longer and decondition.

Yeah if you are gaining then stick with it. Increase time/frequency first if you are stalling.

Or add one other exercise to it. LIke fulcrum stretches.
