I summarize for you : cause of Nocturnal Penile Tumescence (scientific name of morning wood) is believed to be REM activity (dreams); deprivation of this phase, or disturbs of it, cause lossen morning wood. I think you know also that anti-anxiety drugs, so well that althered psychologic life, cause lessen of REM phase.
So, as said, morning woods are in no way a proof of sexual disfunction or nerve damage.

Hope it help.

I agree with this Bob, So the issue is to try to restore REM sleep.

About what Latency said, Their are several substances that can repair nerve damage but how be it it is very slow because nerves heal up slow.

Biotin, I’m currently taking this for nueropathy, Neurontin made me fat sad and psychotic.
Ginkgo Biloba has a chemical called NGF Nerve Growth Factor, The amount of ginkgo you have to take to stimulate nerve growth, this is what I am un sure of. I take 240mg standarized daily.
B12 good for blood vessel health and nerve damage.
Magnesium for nerve conduction 300-800mg per day, This is what I take
Calcium 1000mg per day.

I have managed to get the nerve damage under control, However my toes still get numb and fall asleep. This nueropathy use to go up half my legs and the tips of my fingers and the end of my dick.

Speak softly carry a big dick, I'm mean stick!

Lol.

77 talks about Yohimbe.

You talk about Ginkgo, Arginine, Glutamine, and now Magnesium and Calcium.

I’m not saying you aren’t right, but Jeez where does it end?

I mean I might as well supplement like an Hiv patient and tote around a Hefty bag with all my PE pills.

What people don’t get, and it honest is weird, is that you get most nutrients in food.

Arginine is in almost EVERYTHING. Peanut butter, meat, nuts, etc.

Same for L-Glutamine (the body produces it’s own), Taurine, Lysine, blah, blah, blah.

The only things I would probly ever supplement are things the body doesn’t get naturally, like Ginkgo or Tongkat Ali.

Whatever.

PE should, in my opinion, be a health thing, like brushing our teeth and working out.

And KP, I’ve been on Neurontin, and it’s one of the most psycho-safe pills out there for anxiety.

You seriously like CANNOT OD on that stuff, it’s that safe-hazard.

I took 6 once, had a beer with a friend, all I felt was tired.

I don’t know where you got the “sad and psychotic” from; maybe you had a bad reaction. It’s a lightweight drug though.

For some people it is dangerous, and I’m thinking that is limited to diabetics. There is a personality diabetics have when blood sugar is out of control it is called diabetic personality disorder. I talked with other diabetics who were on neurontin and they had the same symptoms.
And I took a prescribed high dose of over 900mg per day. It may have also reacted bad,y with Glucophage and Avandia.

Nuerontin may calm you down but it makes you fearful, It did me anyway.

FDA may pull Neurontin off the shelf, people have been known to commit suicide while on the drug.

Speak softly carry a big dick, I'm mean stick!

900 mg per day isn’t THAT high.

It’s a high does, but nothing bad. Neuontin is given to people with back injuries, and is a light-core drug for anxiety.

I’d sooner trust Neurontin over any anti-depressant.

Speaking of which, have we even come to a conclusion about my “situation” yet?

Is going to the doctor even worth it, since he won’t be able to tell me if it’s nerve damage anyway?

IYO, is there a very good chance it’s just stress?

What would I take if I had either, or even both?

bobs304,

nerve damage cause lessen of sensitivity, this is the primary symptom; another symptom is ED, and you said you don’t have ED.

On the other side, as I said, anti-anxiety (the lighter ones too) reduce REM phase; I know this for sure because I have used that kind medicines, and when you break assumption you can note higher frequency and “intensity” of dreams; alcohol is a multiplier of this bad effect on sleep. So, given the “morning wood- REM phase” relation, I think the cause of your problem is now known.

Ok guys, pay attention, please, lol:

When this problem started happening, wait for it, WAIT for it - I wasn’t on any medication, nor had I touched a pill in YEARS.

Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

:.)

What we are saying is: sleep alterations (and definitively REM phase lessen) are the cause (probably) of diminishing morning woods; you said you have psychological problems/stress started so long ago, and these problems likely had altered your REM phase. In example: how much times is passed from the last time that you was able to remind a dream?

I usually remember what I dream, but then forget later in the day, but that’s normal.

When I was on anti-depressants, my dreams were vivid as hell.

And when I pop a vallium before sleep, dreams are fairly vivid too.

The thing that’s weird is, I’ve ALWAYS undergone a lot of stress, this was just worse.

Eh, I have no idea.

You’re theory would work except I don’t experience any spontaneous erections AT ALL.

Not in public, not at work.

My manual erections are OK, not great, but good enough. I probly masturbate too much though.

Then again at the same time, I’ve ALWAYS masturbated a lot as a kid and would get perfectly great 8 inch erections.

I mean I’m only 21. I know stress is bad, but this has got to be a physical thing. Don’t they say if you can get it up on your own it’s not psychological?

You coined it Bob! Stress, over the top stress. The Valium and anti depressants are disturbing your REM cycle as well. They are not helping!
Go back to square one Stress. When you work out at the gym does that not help lift the sting of stress?

Stress releases cortisol, cortisol is the stress hormone. Cortisol up, testosterone down.

I hate to push another supplement at you but food can also help relieve stress.
You may want to consider a a black tea or green tea habit. Both are cortisol blockers. We also talked about Ginkgo, Ginkgo as well is a cortisol blocker.

You like chicken, the dark meat is high in “B” vitamins “B” vitamins are great for buffering stress. Milk is also good it contains calcium may also help with anxiety.

Turkey meat is loaded with the amino acid tryptophan. Eat a turkey lunch meat sandwhich before you go to bed.

Avoid white sugar.

Little things added up to stress you out to the point where it is causing some physiological decline. Little things can also put you back on
Track.

Morning wood and spontaneous erections being absent is not the end of the world, You said, you can still get it up this is good so work on improving EQ and dealing with the issue of penis pain. Arnaca cream may help with the pain. Athletes put it on topically on sore tired muscles this may work for the penis. Aspirin can cause ED in older men but your 21 so pop an aspirin when it is sore.

The fowfers should help with restoring your classic hang and soften the rigidity of your flaccid penis.

You may want to consider that melatonin as well but don’t take it with Valium.

Speak softly carry a big dick, I'm mean stick!

Yea, if I was a betting man, and I’m not, I’d throw a 100 bucks on over-the-top stress as the crime here.

Some good pointers though.

I’m gonna look into the green tea, the Rocky Biloba, and the Arnica Montana.

Otherwise, I think I need a change in my situation.in my life.

Anyway - what do you think bout Fight Club?

Zoom zoom.

Now, to cream or to pill. That is the question.

.

Both.
Don’t take it with valium unless you ask your doctor if it is OK.
Try this doctor

Or seen a homeopathic medical doctor.
Often times drugs and herbs do not mix, some homeopathic remedies can be taken with alopathic medications such as Valium or aspirin, I using these two as an example. Not to go out and combine all these substances without consulting a homeopathic medical doctor.
