How to create girth gains without bruising?

I know this is a common subject, but I’ve read all the old threads, and I don’t know if you guys have come to a consensus. Obviously, one makes girth gains by expanding the tunica beyond what it normally can handle. However, this forces more blood into the capillaries/veins than *they* can handle. The question is: how can we force the penis to expand enough to produce permanent gains while not expanding it so much that the capillaries burst. How is this point determined? Has anyone here sought a professional medical opinion on this? I (unsurprisingly) couldn’t find much with a google search. It doesn’t seem like we even have a concensus physiological explanation of *how* jelqing/clamping creates permanent girth gains. Thanks.

You don’t need an explanation of *how* exactly you gain. Unless your purpose is just to research intellectually about PE.
If you want size, you just do whatever is necessary. No need for theory.

Now you’re asking how to know the optimum balance pressure point. There are indicators you should watch for: excessive pain, cold dick, numbness are signs teling you to STOP.

Slight aches are no problem, “no pain no gain” kind of pains.
You need high inner pressure in the dick, for a sufficient amount of time, and most importantly stable and disciplined workouts for days and weeks to see results.
Also the tolerance of dick to pressure increases gradually: one which once was too much may become insufficient in the future. But it’s always about keeping an open eye and watching the indicators.
Actually enjoying the workout is the greatest positive indicator, which shows you’re on the right track.
Good Luck.

Don’t PE in the dark is a good first step. Make sure you are paying attention to your penis. When you see red spots start, back off. When you start off it is really easy to engorge it insanely but leave nice bruises for a bit. It just requires conditioning.

Right. I’m one of those guys that bruises very easy…actually with time and conditioning its getting better. However, you can help protect the skin with the HTW (hair tie wrap) search for the thread. It provides counter force at the skin that will greatly reduce capillary bursting.

One thing that has helped me minimize the red spots (which discolor my dick) is to start my routine slowly. If I’m jelqing for 20 minutes, I make the first 5 minutes or so less intense and gradually ramp up the pressure. Helps me tremendously. It’s real easy, especially when first starting PE, to throw yourself into the deep end before you’re ready. Trust me, we all want those big gains, but discretion is definitely required.

Well, it’s not just theory. I think all of us would feel a lot more confident and inspired by PE if we knew there was a physiological explanation for how it works. I mean, isn’t there *anyone* here with a medical background who can explain why jelqing etc. works? I hear people here talking about tearing down the penis just like you would skeletal muscle, but that (from my understanding) isn’t how smooth muscle works.

Also, sparky, I looked at the HTW threads, but they never really explain how the wraps prevent capillary bursting/bruising. How is this wrap different from a cotton/thermaband wrap? They both put pressure on the penis, right?

Its counter pressure…the internal pressure causes ballooning of the capillaries…the htw applies counter force with compression. Its a lot like a compression stocking to prevent swelling after surgury.

Any type of wrap will do it, but this is a very convenient method that doesn’t slip easily.

This has been gone over ad nauseum. We have theories, and there are several people here with medical backgrounds that have discussed it. In the end, until we have a university that is willing to spend millions on research, tissue samples, blood draws etc…it remains a theory.

Bottom line is it can work…period. Why and how we don’t EXACTLY know…we have our theories. If you want to wait until you know EXACTLY before you start…you will probably die an old man with the same size penis you have now.

If you spend some time and search you will find all this has been gone over and over and over and over…….

Years ago, somebody said here, Read Your Dick; it might have been Dino. That meant staying in tune with what happens with your penis, good and bad, while you pursue the enlargement of it.

Injuries do not equal gains. PE should never be painful. Each session should leave you feeling more turned on toward the next one. “No gain without pain” may apply to building a six-pack on your torso but be sure that if you cause your penis pain, you will pay a price down the road.

Sorry, but wrong.

I endured some slight pains, and I have definitely gained.

And I’m continuing to do so.

That’s why I call them: healthy pains. Just that discomfort feeling.

Thank you, kaan. Question: If stretching causes permanent plastic deformation (much like stretching out gum), than why doesn’t stretching also seem to make the penis *thinner*? Isn’t that usually what happens when things are stretched out?

You have to consider this: what is stretched here is a cylindrical shape, but inside of it is “empty”. Only the boundries are stretched. You can’t think of it like a 3D object. Think of it like 2D object.

If you stretch a 2d object, it becomes longer and that’s it.
