How long should decon be?

How long should decon be?

Hey everyone, you might remember me posting about how I was stuck PE wise a few weeks back. Nothing I did seemed to be working, and the advice I got most was take some time off. So I took 2 weeks off, and now I’m wondering: would it be wise to keep resting for another week or 2, or is it alright if I start up again?

Also, should I try out my old routine again after I’ve finished this break, or should I try something new?

Measure you BPFSL and see if its increased since you started your decon.

I haven’t measured BPFSL very often, though when I have it’s been pretty close to my NBP length. I’ll try again tonight to see where it’s at.

My NBP and BP length has stayed pretty much the same since before I started the decon.

There are various schools of thought on this, some grounded in anatomical research, but my own unscientific opinion is that 2 weeks off should be sufficient. It wouldn’t hurt to take a few more weeks off though; it’s not like it would be hard to get back any gains you might lose in that period.

BP and NBP are two different things, apples and oranges, and shouldn’t be compared. Always use BP measurements for BPFSL and BPEL, and use the BPFSL as a guide to progress and when to take a decon when it decreases.
