How dangerous is clamping?

On a scale from 1 to 10 where 1 represent the least possible chance of ending up with serious injury, were should clamping be placed? Personally, vacuum pumping makes it a 2, extending a 3 and Jelqing a 6 for reference.

In my opinion it comes in around 8. Please consider I say 8 because I’ve had two clamping injuries that left me peeing blood and passing blood clots. That said I clamped with no difficulties for years.

If jelqing is a 6, then clamping is a 10. I’d put jelqing around a 3 as it’s very controllable, and if jelqing is a 3 then clamping would be an 8.

I’ve had many, many clamping sessions that were without any difficulties. I’ve always liked clamping. But all the injuries I’ve had that took a long time to resolve were also caused by clamping.

The problem with clamping is that when injuries happen, they tend to happen without warning, and tend to be at the ‘bad’ end of the scale.

I broke the last of my stock of clamps 3 weeks ago, and after a fruitless search (they seem very hard to get in the UK just now), I decided that I wouldn’t bother to replace them, and would stick with pumping.

firegoat is fully RETIRED from Thundersplace.

All injuries happen from "too much", or "too much, too soon" or "doing the exercise incorrectly".

Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. The ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth. Basics.... firegoat roll How to use the Search button for best results

If not excessively tight, clamping for under 20 minutes is a 1; 20 to 30 minutes is a 3; 30 to 45 minutes is a 6; and over 45 minutes is 8 to 10 .

Damn Titleist, I just started clamping about 20 days ago. I would like to avoid peeing blood and clots.

Please how did that happen? To tight or what?

The first time I was doing clamped jelqs and a few small bends. I’d done this for some time. One night I went to urinate after I took the clamp off and urine wouldn’t come out. I did a strong reverse kegal and a clot came out and the urine was stained with blood. It took a few days to clear up.

Fast forward to about a year ago and I was just clamping. I went to urinate and the same thing happened again. This time I was passing clots and had bloody urine for about two weeks.

Needless to say there’s no more clamping in my future.

You can make any PE exercise a 10 if you go way overboard, especially when starting out and are not conditioned. No matter what PE you choose, you have to start off nice and easy for a short amount of time and slowly increase time and force as you become conditioned. As you gain more knowledge about how you respond to the PE you have chosen, you have to find your own limits and then have the smarts to back off when you occasionally go beyond your limits.

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

How is pumping a 2 and jelqing a 6?

But I agree with Gprent, you can do any technique at any intensity. When I started, I tried some hardcore hold/jelq method and had a bruise on my penis for days. And I never bruise (I have a non-bruising super power). But I never had any problem since I stopped being stupid (or at least acted slightly less stupid).

Mid term goal : 8.5x6.5 (achieved on 2020-06-21 after 6 years break.)

Long term goal : 9x7

Houstonwoods needs to comment here.

He turned an average tool into a billy club utilizing mostly clamping.

Clamping can be 1 to 10, on a dangerous scale, it depends how hard you go with it.

A really light clamping with hands is different from hardcore clamping with 3 cable clamps.

Anyway you can go past your limits really easily, so if you want to start clamping, start lightly and see how your penis reacts.

Oh damn I’m sorry Titleist, I’m going to be extra careful now!

I agree with gprent, I would just add that any PE exercise can result in injury if you over do it, but with Clamping you have to really be extra careful because it is so much easier to injure yourself than most other PE techniques.

I would put clamping in with hanging, these are considered advanced PE exercises and really should be done with extra caution and care. Be sure to read up all you can before you attempt them and make sure you are experienced and conditioned enough that you actually know what overdoing it means / feels like.

Good luck and be very careful if you decide to clamp, it really does work well but the risk may not be worth the reward when there are other ways to get girth (relatively) safer. eg pumping.

Long Term Goal 8 NBPEL x 7 MPEG (why not dream BIG?)

Clamping is an absolute advanced exercise. I waited 1 year since my first jelq. Start with squeezes and Ulis first, so your dick can slowly get prepared to such forces.

My biggest problems with clamping was discolouration and that my base grew faster than the rest of my already tapered dick. I stayed away from clamping and countered tapering effect with Ulis, Squeezes and Bends on the upper half. All discolouration went away after 4-6 months.

I think clamping is the most dangerous. 8-10.

I won’t clamp because of the potential for damage.

When using an extender with a noose/strap, the associated danger is actually clamping, because if too tight, it is effectively clamping the glans (causing the purpling). I obsessively check glans coloration every 5 minutes for the first 20 of an extender session to ensure blood flow.

When pumping you have to purposefully use an extremely high vacuum to damage the penis, and pain becomes evident quickly.

Clamping is most insidious however, because you can forget about the clamp and/or lose feeling hence no pain response and permanently damage the penis in a very short amount of time .

Some guys do great with clamping.

That being said I personally put clamping in 8-10 range. I have experimented with it a couple of times. Both times my EQ was wrecked by it. I have some suspicion that I did some vascular damage to my penis the last time.

Pumping on the otherhand is much gentler and improves my EQ. I also do some manual constriction work and that is good too.

Some guys do great with clamping.
