Hey Bib and other anatomy experts...

I assume the tunica completely surrounds the CCs, even into the the body cavity. How is it anchored to the body?

RB,

Yes.

> How is it anchored to the body?<

If you mean the tunica, it is anchored from the bulbs, as well as other spots, by collagenous connective tissues, connecting to fascia on the tunica.

Bigger

And what are the “collagenous connective tissues” connected to? Backside of the pubic bone or something?

RB,

According to my handy dandy anatomy book, the cc arises from the ascending rami of the pubic bones, where the cs arises as a bulb suspended from the interior fascia of the urogenital diaphgram ( perineal membrane).

Hope that cleared things up :)

Sunny, so CCs attached to solid bone via connective tissue and CS attached to soft tissue reproductive stuff… Right? :)

What I’m getting at is I think I’m having a break through in Blasters, which have been around for quite some time. Doing them before never really gave me a feeling that much additional was happening, but I’ve never concentrated on the straight out stretching like I currently am…

Now, knowing the above, it is finally clear in my mind what’s happening. The PC is attached to the CCs via the tunica fascia. When one pushes it out, via an RK, it is in it’s most relaxed state, allowing one to put full stress on the CCs all the way into the body where they attach to bone.

For some reason, every other attempt in the past never yeilded any additional stretch for me. However, doing these straight out with a concentrated RK, I can really feel the stretch way down behind my balls, as well as additional stretch on the RK.

Hopefully, I’m on to something…

Thanks for your help.

Thought I should add, another reason why I probably didn’t have luck with the blasters initially is they were touted primarily as a Lig move, and I wasn’t having trouble stretching my ligs at that point, so I probably gave up much too soon.

However, I’m finding them VERY effective for tunica isolation as well.

RB,

You are right in your first statement. More or less.
The PC is NOT attached to the CC. The PC muscle is part of the urogential triangle. Now, let me consult the book.

The urogenital triangle contains the penis, scrotum, and related structures in the male …………… It includes (1) the anterior recess of the ischiorectal fossa. (2) the urogenital diaphragm composed of the deep transverse perineal muscle and sphincter urethrae, and (3) the superifical perineal space, containing the ischiocavernosus, and bulbspoongiosus muscles. These muscles ensheathe the roots of the erectile bodies of the penis aiding in their erection. Bulbospongiosus also contracts rhythmically during the ejaculation of semen. The superficial transverse perineal muscles stabilize the fibrous perineal body which helps anchor the perineal structures.

So, technically speaking, because of fascia, everything is connected, but a direct connection between the PC and the CC isn’t there.

I know, probably about as clear as mud.

This will teach me not to use spell checker, sorry guys, I fixed the boo boos

Actually, I’ve seen much clearer mud… too many big words for me :)

My understanding is they are not “connected” in the sense that they of part of the same system, but “connected” because you can use one to manipulate movement of the other… right?

Yes

RB, I know the feeling you are talking about as well. I have a fairly high LOT, so I have been concentrating mostly on lig exercises, however I do some stretches SO upwards and SO to each side and feel this dull pain (mild) at the base of my penis on the bottom. I have been wondering ever since I felt it if maybe stretching this would essentially extend the length of the penis from the bottom. If this were so, this type of lengthening would allow for more gain from the ligs.

After reading the LOT theory threads countless times, I did not see how it would be possible to raise one’s LOT through lengthening the tunica itself, but if this does indeed pull internal penis out from the bottom, this would do it. Have you noticed any gains from doing the blasters SO? Change in LOT?

Soon, I really just started doing the straight out blasters. I’ll keep an eye on my LOT

I posted a thread on another forum, about the theory of why blasters work to increase gains. My thinking is, kegeling while stretching provides addition resistance to the PC’s, therefore developing these muscles (which unlike the penis tissues, really are musces) more strongly than standard kegels. Of course I still believe that the RK enhances the stretch, but I’m also starting to believe that PC development is much more important than we realize.

Kegeling while stretching SO or SU (straight up) I can feel the resistance the most, when I really apply a forceful stretch I can feel the tugback almost to the point of pain.

wesb, In all my experience, I’ve made the most gains when my pc was the weakest…

I haven’t done a kegel for over 4 months now. I’m having a difficult time understanding how a strong PC can contribute to gains. In my latest experience related above, taking the PC completely out of the equation results in the most intense stretching I’ve felt in a long, long time…

Twatteaser: the man, the myth, and the legend in his own mind.

When you pull your penis out and then do a kegel and feel tug back, it creates another resistance. Especially if you are trying to keep your penis stationary.

With the blaster this may help to stretch ligs, even tunica.

I do believe that kegels are more for tonifying your penis. But one cannot ignore the added resistance when doing kegels mixed with “A”-Stretches, or similar. The best is the RK for the extra pull! ;)
