I haven’t been here in awhile nor doing any type of PE. I start back up today after reading the other post, thank you.

The Bogey Stretch!

Bogey: a hole played one stroke over par.


Start: 6/30/2007 - (NBPEL 6.25", BPEL - 7"), (Mid EG 5.25") (Base EG 5 3/4")

11/10/2007 - (NBPEL 6.75", BPEL - 7.5"), (Mid EG 5.5") (Base EG 6")

Goal: 7.5 NBPEL, 6" Midshaft EG

W-stretches
W-ring-bends
W-bends
Ring bends

I don’t think the name needs to accurately describe the excercise as it can’t be understood with just a name.. It just needs to be clear and easy to remember so it can be looked up if not understood.

Ring Pulls, Ring Pulls

Putter pull, driving, the 19 pull. I would make a play off of golf on this one. Improve you drive pull. The country club pull.

I scribbled them in as ‘caterpillars’ in my paper log if that’s worth anything. Probably because some sessions I go up and down the whole shaft twice and it reminds me of a caterpillar’s movement.

I’ve actually had PM conversations and I think I’ve posted to threads referring to them as the “Wantsmore Stretch”.

The bottom line is it doesn’t matter what we call them as long as it’s consistent in the community. It doesn’t need to be descriptive. For example, what the hell is a LDP Stretch, DLD Blaster or Fowfers. They’re all great manual exercises that are named after their creators.

I really like the Wantsmore Stretch and think we should honor Wantsmore for is innovative thinking and leave it be!
