Heat Clamping

My question is aiming at the targeted cooling temperature. We know that heating it up to 105-110 F will just give us the needed bit of extra engorgement (or elongation), but what in your opinion is the temperature needed to get the gains ‘cemented’? A few degrees below normal body temperature, I bet.

“No, I think I was talking about using a gel-pac for cool down. A plastic bag with something like jello but it doesn’t crystallize. They are used for treating muscle strains and are kept in the freezer. However, there are many types of connective tissues (bone, blood, cartilage, adipose, fibrous, reticulated, mesentary, etc). The skin of the penis contains a type that consists of straight fibers, coiled elastic-like filaments and sundry cells imbedded in a matrix of gelatinous material, that allows penile skin to stretch out a lot more than regular skin and then retract. The tunica, on the other hand, is far less elastic. MXL”

OK, but my question remains - if the idea is to cool tissues down in an elongated state, because this would make it easier to cement gains - where does this come from, medically? I am not sure about what the physical therapists say about tendons and icepacks and sprained ankles (Sunshinekid, you out there?). Do you have any references for this?

In the “penile stress/strain” thread by mbuc, he made an experiment of cooling down while under load, and measured the shrinkage etc. It was a one-time experiment, but as I recall there was no measurable difference.

Taped onto the dashboard of a car at a junkyard, I once found the following: "Good judgement comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgement." The car was crashed.

Primary goal: To have an EQ above average (i.e. streetsmart, compassionate about life and happy) Secondary goal: to make an anagram of my signature denoting how I feel about my gains

Oh, I see what you are saying now. The ideas about connective tissue softening came from a perusal of literature on the subject. It gradually softens as the temperature nears 110 F. That means it is not in this softened state at normal body temperature (97-99 F). Thus cooling after heating will make it less soft. There is little doubt about this. However there is the question you raise. In essence —Does cooling really cement gains? To this I must say the following. I have found no scientific evidence that it will cause permanent gains. I have written all this in the context of having a longer lasting flaccid gain following a workout. I have only anecdotal evidence (personal experience) for this. The effect is temporary bit gives ME a much longer period (hours longer) of having a longer flaccid. MXL

mgus, Magnum,

Would it not be better to use heat ‘all the time’ instead of ‘cooling down’ penis right after PE session? I am not sure if we can cement gains so quickly. I believe gains are made not during the stretch but in period of rest..period of at least one day. That is why I started my thread about heating(‘warming’..’up’):

Warming: Once again…

Would it be OK in your opinion just to throw heating pad into pants after PE session? Such pads can heat for 8-10 hours… :

Olympic athletes do this alternating hot/cold bath after workouts to cement plastic deformation of tissues for flexability reasons. They go down to 40 degrees. Often they will fill a tub/bucket with ice water and submerge. I forget the time cycle.

Though I don’t know the source, I remember distinctly looking at research (some of it posted on this board) about doctors stretching ligaments by heating, stretching, then cooling while still stretched. It does have a solid basis out there in the real world.

*I measure PRE-WORKOUT, normal erection* Started: 7 EBP x 4.9 EG. Several years on and off PE, now 8.125 EBP length x 5.5 EG midshaft (5.8 base). Working on girth (clamping) again after breaks due to injuries - fast recent gains! Pics

Bump this one up.

MagnumXL has gained so much from his heat & cold treatment.

Notorious "Hardgainer". No Gain in 4 Years! Check out my "Blog" under Profile.

(starting: Jun 2007) 5.75" BPEL x 5" EG / (Sept 11, 2011) 6.375" BPEL x 5.125" EG / (July 1st, 2014) 6.25" BPEL x 5.125" EG (lost a bit of size)

Guys, use a hair dryer to warm the penis while clamping, it is simple and effective.

Start 6.5 bpel 5.75 eg Current bpel 7.0 eg 6.75 (7.0eg base) Goal bpel 7.25 eg 7.0 mid shaft

Progress routine and pics/vids

Fashionable approach!

I have a couple of questions for titleist since I see he posted on this subject back in 06’.
1) Do you still use a heating pad when you pump?
2) Have you used the cool down method ?
3) What are your thoughts on the heat up/cool down method 4 years later?

I thought it would be interesting to hear your comments/thoughts on the subject now vs then.

but not the quietest way to do it. A heating pad is silent.

My name is sarcastic.

Where can i get one of those air clamps. I’d love to have one.

when you heat collagen liquefies, when you let it cool there are a restructuration with stiffness and retractation (new memory), it sound logical to stay stretched when you are cooling into have a new memory.

I agree at 110%

sorry for my english :D

I’m no expert, but wouldn’t the cool down only affect the length gains from clamping? I ask because the reason i keep seeing for the cooldown is it keeps your penis tissues in the elongated/stretched state.
