I’m pretty new here, but i figure I’d chime in. I’ve been horribly unmotivated for as long as i can remember (I’m only 20). I’ve procrastinated a good part of my life away. I got kicked out of top ranked college last year because of it and am going to a community college now. I did very well last semester, i got a 3.9 (shoulda been a 4 but i procrastinated at the very end and didn’t turn in a paper). I didn’t flat out buckle down and do ALL my work, and i usually ended up putting it off to the last day or two, but i was still getting it done.

Now this term I’m back to procrastinating again. I can’t even get started on doing work. I started my transfer apps back in January, but the second i saw that i had to do an essay i put them off until “tomorrow”.. now tomorrow is today and they’re due in 3 days and I’m no closer to being done than i was in a month and a half ago

Quite simply: if i could, I’d just lay around the house and do absolutely nothing all the time (right now it’s just limited to weekends, i sleep a good 10 hours and just do jack). I haven’t been to the gym in almost a week, I’ve been pushing myself to go all day, but i kept putting it off by doing something else.

procrastination is really fucking up my life, but i just can’t seem to beat it at all. I keep telling myself “i’m going to do it…….right after i finish this”

Wow I never thought I would be the creator of a 5-star thread. Who would have thought? Looking back…I made this thread 5 months ago…and it is as relevant now as it was then. Pretty pathetic eh? I’ve made some progess though at least. I also found a site with a page that has a somewhat lengthy analysis on procrastination (the different types of procrastination and how to fight it):

Being the terrible procrastinator that I am, I have got to admit that its got some pretty good advice, and I read it again and again from time to time in order to try and start applying its suggestions (but we all know I just put them off for another day).

I’m still doing it just as much as before, but at least now I have fooled my screwed up head into using PE to procrastinate on something else. Pretty trippy shit, I must admit… ;)

This happened to me but I actually find that I get bored of one thing only to become interested in another.

PE is just not for me at the moment.
I’m back at my old hobby of tweaking my computers around.

I’m installing linux and going to try overclocking my PIII.

I may get back into PE one day though.

But since I don’t have a gal to use my dick in I really don’t need a big dick for pissing eh?

Your problem sounds a lot like procrastination to me; putting off (for whatever reason) something you should be doing. I too have had to battle with procrastination and am finally conquering it.

Here are a couple of tips to begin to end this problem once and for all.

1) Set a schedual of your week, each and every week. Don’t just think about it. Write it out on paper of the things you must do each and every day. It doesn’t have to be by the hour, but work like a dog to get everything done, each and every day.

2) Keep a journal and write in it as often as possible. This will be a constant reminder and a guage of progress. This can be about your feelings

3) Realize this fact every single time you have to do something that you feel lazy or bored about: “IF I DON’T DO IT NOW, I’M NEVER going to do it.” For the procrastinator, in most cases it’s true right? Say it aloud to yourself if necessary and don’t think about the task, simply dive in.

I understand how hard it can be to do something when you don’t feel like doing it. It’s easy, by comparison to reason why we should be doing something. That fact is to your advantage and should become your motivation for completing a task.

Don’t give up! You are human and have choice. You are also responsible for your actions. If you let procrastination win, then you are choosing to be a procrastinator.

Even better, don’t think of PE as a workout, or a chore…think of it as something fun. Think about it in ways where you won’t even want to procrastinate…you have to WANT it…when you want something a whole lot, more than anything else, you won’t have to think about planning out the days or procrastinating because it’s a workout…you’re doing it for yourself, to make yourself a better person physically, mentally, and emotionally. At least that’s what PE has done for me…and I’m nowhere near finished, and I very rarely take a day off. :)

Research pumping. With pumping, you aways get the satisfaction of a bigger dick and it keeps you motivated. You may actually look forward to it. I’ve added it to my routine and it boosted my motivation.

This is a long ass thread and yes, I’m procrastinating reading it all.

I’ve spent 14 months working hard at trying to grow my dick, I’ve achieved a f##king shitty .2 of an inch in length only (and that was in the first month, nothing since then).

I feel f##king cheated by this whole pe bullshit.

There are 3 things that are keeping me motivated:

-The first thing is that I can watch some porn when I PE and I will never look for it or watch it when I wouldn’t do PE. This is a real help for me because I’m very enthousiastic on a PE-day. I guess I’m kind of perverted in some way :p

-Secondly, I get a really good feeling after I PE’d because I know I’m a little step closer to my goal each time and I know I’ve done something right. It’s the same when I weight train.

-And last but not least, I have a mental picture in my head about my dick a couple of years from now after I’ve reached my goal and just imagining that get’s me really pumped up.

Of course all of the motivations below could count as well…

Motivations: - The smile on your girlfriends face when she pulls it out - You never have to hear "DEEPER!" (and if you can) - Getting to see a mouth stretched around your cock and 2 hands req to work it - All of your girlfriends girlfriends knowing your big - Knowing you're the biggest she's been with and she'll always remember you in her life - Watching pornos and being so unimpressed

I am back yet again. According to this site, I haven’t been here since the end of December 05. I can’t even remember the last time I performed a friggin PE exercise. Hell I’ve even forgotten majority of them. Amazing that I posted this thread back in 2003, and everything I typed on that first post STILL applies to me three damn years later. Couldn’t even practice what I preached. Returning to this forum after being gone for so long…knowing that I should be a vet here by now…yet I’m probably worse off than newbies…it hurts me almost as badly as pulling a cock ligament.

It seems like whenever a new chick enters my life, or something new comes around and conflicts with my routines, I never recover.

I am finally single again, I have a steady career, and have managed to get into the habit of going to the gym several times a week for the past 6 months. I’ve had tremendous gains all over my body. But tonight after I got out of the shower and looked at myself in the mirror, I thought to myself…if I’ve proven that I have the ability to stay this consistent in body building, then why the fuck can’t I do the same with my dick?

So here I am again, setting myself up for what may end up being yet another failure in my sad PE career. Perhaps this time around it will be different though. I think I am going to become celibate and stay away from women until I have grown myself 1” in length. Sounds crazy, but maybe that’s what it will take to end this pathetic cycle of mine.

Don’t get too mad, you might not do well at PE but at least you’re able to do well in the gym, with the ladies, and in your career. Three out of four isn’t bad.

The trick here is to procrastinate about procrastinating, then you will put off procrastinating.

The fix is a easy one, get an ADS and be done with the rest of the stuff your doing!
