Good vibrations - or bad?

Good vibrations - or bad?

Today I experienced something very strange and it actually scared me a bit.
I was in the bathroom taking a piss. Afterwards I did a couple of stretches, straight out. Nothing extreme, just 5 or 6 stretches with moderate force.

I left the bathroom and sat down to have lunch and everything felt normal, but halfway into the meal I felt a very strong vibration in my dick, it was like someone had put one of those vibrating eggs for women in my underwear. The vibration lasted for about 3 seconds and there was no pain, just this strong and sudden vibration. Sounds funny I suppose, but it wasn´t. It scared the crap out of me for a moment and I had to excuse myself from the table and go back to the bathroom to check if everything was ok, which it was, thank God.

Has anyone else experienced something like this and what do you make of it?

edit: I had meat and potatoes. :)
Take care,

LOL somebody put a diamondback i your pants…..

I have felt the same vibrations now and then. I don’t think it is a negative sign. More a reaction of a stressed organ. Your muscles do have some vibrations too sometime ( I don’t now what you call it in English/US ) and it’s nothing scaring about that. I think I got these vibrations after a period of intensive PEing. Take a break for a couple of days….. it can’t harm you or your member.

That’s unusual! The only thing I could imagine having anything like that effect is loose plaque rushing through your unit. Although I would imagine only strong jelqing would dislodge plaque like that.

Hold on.

I remained silent on Bib’s plaque theory because it seemed to be contained in that thread. Now it’s being passed around as fact and I have to say something.

Arterial plaques are a fatty deposit that builds slowly. They do not usually form in younger men. While they can dislodge and flow downstream, that is an unusual occurrence. Their usual mechanism for arterial occlusion is to initial a clot by aggravating the platelets in the blood. Taking one baby aspirin a day will interfere with the platelets and helps reduce clot formation. However, this should not be recommended for everyone and certainly not because of possible plaque in penile arteries.

Anything flowing downstream can only go to smaller vessels. It’s unlikely that a soft, fatty deposit moving into a small space by arterial blood flow will “vibrate.” Even if it did, you probably couldn’t feel it.

I didn’t want to get into this now, but I can’t let unproven medical theory become part of the discussions here at Thunder’s Place.

There is a trick that I learned….

Hold out a finger. (index or middle is fine)

Now, with the other hand, squeeze it as tightly as you can.
Keep the pressure up.

After about 1 minute, stop squeezing, but don’t open your hand.
Slide your finger out.

Now, open up your hand very very slowly.

Cool huh? :D Maybe something similar to this happened with you, sizemoore?

Can always be relied upon to keep things on an even keel :) Thanks! I’d rather believe what you said than what I thought.

Very informative, WLA, you are a fount of knowledge. Any chance that there could be an Anatomy section here, I feel that alot of us would love to gain more knowledge about our bodies.

Thanx for all your inputs…

westla,

“Insufficient blood flow into the penis can be caused by a buildup of fatty deposits known as plaque in the arteries supplying blood to the penis. The tiny size of these arteries, some with diameters smaller than a pin head, makes them vulnerable to plaque blockage. Plaque in the penile arteries is only one manifestation of arteriosclerosis, commonly known as hardening of the arteries. In that connection, men with a history of coronary heart disease - where plaque also plays a role often report impotence. “

From:

Does it not make sense that the manipulations from PE make this occurance more likely?

Sorry, I meant to put this one in also:

“Besides plaque, there are other causes for blood restriction into the penis. Physical injury in the pelvic area, malignant tumors, or surgery performed on major blood vessels elsewhere in the body can cause blood clots to form, which dislodge the small fatty deposits present in the bloodstream. When these fragments, or emboli, flow downstream, penile arteries are one of the places they may end up. “

My guess is it was a “twitch” like you might get with an eyelid.

Every once in a while, one of my biceps or the top of one pectoral muscle will start firing off involuntarily with quick little pulses that can last from a few seconds to a minute or more. I assume it’s just a nerve being weird, and it seems to happen more when I’ve been doing a lot of weight training. The pulses are too slow to be considered vibrations, but maybe dick nerves are different.

In any case, I bet your vibration is nerve related, and may be a byproduct of PE. It will vary by the intensity of your routine, but obviously stretching, jelqing and twisting all tweak the nerves in your dick to some extent. Your vibrations are probably just a benign reaction, but one you should monitor closely. Do you perceive any loss in sensation?

I also wonder about the role of nutrition. I realize now I haven’t had a nerve misfire since I started drinking a half bottle of low sodium V-8 everyday. Maybe it’s the extra potassium?

Regarding GrowingUp’s interest in anatomy, I just stumbled across the best narrative on penis anatomy I’ve ever seen:

sizemoore,

From what I can remember, this use to happen to me before I started PE. It just happens once every blue moon (very rarely). Personally, I wouldn’t be too concerned about it. But if you feel like you should take a few days off to ease your mind, then go ahead and do that.

Sizemoore,

BTW, I had all manner of twitches, etc happen to me while I was PEing. Three seconds is not unusual.

The buzzing that the guy I worked with on the circulation issue was fairly chronic.

Thanks for all the replies guys!

I haven´t had any loss in sensation or anything else, just this peculiar three second vibration. Thinking back, I remember having another one of these after a stretching session, but that was after lot more intense workout than my little piss stretch today. This was maybe 5 or 6 months ago.

I´ll take a couple of days off, just in case.

Thanks fellas.
