Golf weights

I tried doing a search on walmart dot com for golf weights and got over 1200+ results. Was anybody able to find it online at walmart?

My advice is to go with monty’s weights. I’ve used the golf weights for about two and a half months and although they work, have pretty much wanted monty’s from the beginning. In fact I’m going to order them right now….

They’re heavier so they’ll give you an acutal “hanging” effect. Most of the action of the golf swing weights is to keep your cock extended, the actualy stretch they provide at that weight is minimal.

No offense to Monty’s products but his is made of lead which scares the shit out of me.

Although the product might be coated with plastic im still concern that traces of lead will get into your system. I have read guys that have woren them for years with no side effects whatsoever, but personally i’m a little scared to but anything that is made of lead near my skin for an extended period. I’m hoping I can find an alternative product that help.

Double dipped in plastic is good enough for me. I’m going to wear a wrap *under* them just to be sure though. As long as the lead is totally contained in the plastic there should be no problem.

Golf weights seem like plastic coated lead also. The plastic coating on Monty’s, or wal-marts should be more than enough protection. You really won’t be causing a great deal of trauma to them that the coating will break.

I guarantee the coating for life. Your life or your PE life. If you wear the coating through just send them in and I’ll replace them

If your going to mail order anyway, you should go for monties, I would say. But if you want the convenience, you can walk into walmart and buy the weights in the sporting goods department for very cheap, and have them today. I think golf weights are plastic coated steel, instead of lead, which is why they weight less. But I wouldn’t worry about lead going through the plastic.

When I ordered my PEWeights from Monty, I also ordered a lead test kit (from another source) as I wanted to be sure there wasn’t any trace of lead to come in contact with my skin. All the weights tested perfectly clean, no trace of lead whatsoever. :up:

Be careful to inspect them ocassionally, especially if you drop a few of them at the same time on a tile floor. Little plastic dip took care of the small hole I created.

Lets get a little perspective here. We should have thousands of people that are just flat crazy all around us. The auto body repair industry and auto customerizers all used lead extensively in body work. The electronics industry: manufacturing people use solder for welding electronic parts all day long everyday for years. Handling it with their fingers. Plumbers used to use lead for sealing cast iron drain pipe joints. Lead is used in the solder in your home plumbing system if you have copper pipe. Tires stores have guys balancing wheels with lead weights all day long. Reloaders for ammunition use lead for bullets. That’s where I get my supply of lead.

The only time we see any detrimental effects from lead is when it is ingested in the form of paint. Some paints were used on cribs and the kids were mouthing the rails. Some kids were effected by eating paint chips from walls. These are the only sources that have caused lead poisoning. Yes I suppose that if you painted yourself with lead all over you might have an effect but it would have to be left on for a long duration. The only other way would be to hold my rings in your mouth while doing something else but the coating would have to be removed first. The Romans had extensive lead poisoning because they were using lead for water pipes and therefore were ingesting it.

One little spot of lead touching the skin is not going to poison anyone. It washes off with soap and water.

Let’s not go off the deep end here. The danger is not realistically there. Lead is not a radio isotope. It can be handled day in a day out without ill effects.

Now I’m sure there is someone out there that is just chomping at the bit to pick this apart so come ahead but you’d better be able to come up with definitive evidence that supports the extreme. Remember that there are a lot of fishermen who may not be able to touch a lead sinker for fear of going crazy by touching it, and be especially careful then you replace the battery on your car because the battery terminals are lead based.

Monty’s weights kick ass mate.

I have used them constantly for about 6 weeks and have already gained about 1/8 BPFS.

They are easily the best ADS/ADH available IMO.

lol. Couldn’t have said it better myself. The golf swing weights are just too friggin light IMO. It’s traction to be sure, but after you get used to it definitely NOT a significant *stretch*.

What material is the golf swing weights made of an how heavy is it?

Plastic coated metallic donut shaped thingys. Definitelly not lead. As stated earlier, around ten ounces apiece.
