Going from hanging, back to manual exercises?

Just curious, has anyone gone back to a manual routine, after an extensive hanging routine and made gains? I know for most of us we start hanging because we have stopped gaining from our manual routines. So have any of you made the switch back and seen gains?

I’ve gone from ADS back to strictly manual exercises. I did some hanging, but not all that much. I have seen gains, probably about .25” in 6 months or so. I did it because I’m uncut and was getting too much foreskin so I developed a manual way of stretching that can help reduce foreskin accumulation. Anyways, my theory is, if you can feel the stretch then it’s beneficial.

Thanks Trunk! Anyone else on this one? Or does this just mean that gains after hanging will be very hard to come by?

I have a bias that hanging is more effective. Dr. Gary Alter recently said in a Playboy radio interview that hanging weights from the penis is the only way he can advise people to enlarge the penis.

So if anything, I might find myself doing the opposite of what you’re talking about. I may one day drift away from manual exercises and only do hanging. Although for now I do both.

So whats your routine like now? I find that its hard to do both at the same time. The reason I asked the question is because In a couple of months my girlfriend and I are planning on moving in together. At that point my hanging career is over. So I will probably go back to a manual routine.

I’ve done, and I have gained. I think the question in itself is somethat a fake problem, dlm4. Every PE techniques put stress on your penis. It’s not the means that counts, but that such stress, AKA tension or force, is applied on a consistent enough regimen, for the right amount of time, with the right amount onf intensity and with the right frequency.

I’d say jelqs are the most effective PE technique - if someone had no gains with jelqing, but had with some other technique, I tend do believe that he never learned the correct technique and/or did too much.

It’s true that hanging tends to make your penis harder to deform, but I think that applies foremost in regard to other length-oriented tecniques. Instead, girth-oriented exercises could work well right after a hanging routine.

If you are only interested in length gains and you can’t do hanging anymore, the nearest thing you could use instead than a hanger should be an extender, IMHO.

Thanks Marinera…great answer. That’s the type of answer I was looking for. It looks like my girlfriend and I will be moving in together at the end of summer, so my hanging will come to an end at that time. I do plan on PEing still, but it will be stealth PE. So even an extender will be hard to use. For now I am most interested in length gains. Suggestions? Thanks again.

Well length-oriented techniques are hanging, manual stretching and ADS/extender. So, if you can’t hang neither use an extender, what remains?

I think exercises are better anyways.

I hung for a while. But took alot of time off now I’m back to doing manual exercises to break my penis back in.

I do use my Vac-Hanger, but for more of a ADS, no weights involved. I’ll slowly bring myself back into the habit of using them though.
